Renowned media personality, Akosua Ago Aboagye has officially resigned from Despite Media, marking the end of a remarkable 20-year journey with the media conglomerate.

In a heartfelt message shared on her social media platforms, Akosua expressed her gratitude to Despite Media and her loyal supporters for their unwavering love and encouragement throughout her career.

“THANK YOU DESPITE MEDIA. Today, I invite you all to join me in expressing a heartfelt thank you to Despite Media for two incredible decades of experience, support and love that I have received during my time here. It is with a mix of emotions that I announce my official resignation from Despite Media.”

Akosua Ago Aboagye, who has become a household name in Ghana’s media landscape, reflected on the profound impact of her time at Despite Media, acknowledging the role her audience played in her success. 

“I am deeply grateful for each of you who has followed my journey and supported my brand. Your encouragement has been invaluable, and I truly appreciate you all. May God bless you abundantly for the kindness you have shown me.”

Her journey in broadcasting began at Otec FM in Kumasi, where she notably served as a football commentator before transitioning to Peace FM. Over the years, she has become a trusted voice in Ghanaian media, delivering news with clarity and passion.

Beyond her broadcasting career, Akosua has been an advocate for women’s empowerment. She spearheaded the “Woman2Woman” tour, aiming to help women develop their potential and fulfill their dreams.
