The mother of musician Okomfour Kwadee, Madam Cecilia Atootaga, has debunked reports suggesting that she is involved in her son’s predicament.

She said the narrative is being pushed by Hammer Nti, who was caring for the musician.

The woman explained that she had always wanted Okomfour Kwadee to be handled by Lord Kenya, who had gone through a similar ordeal in the past and was successful.

“I met Lord Kenya, and he told me that Kwadee was his friend. He asked if Kwadee went naked, and I said no. Then Lord Kenya told me that his father has suffered, and his wife too has. He told me that at a point, he wanted to beat his father.

“He said it was a time when he worked hard, but people were taking the money he got from the work. He assured me that my son would be fine and prayed for me. I told Hammer that I wanted Lord Kenya to handle my son, but he got angry, so I rescinded my decision and allowed him to do his work.”

However, Okomfour Kwadee’s mother revealed that Hammer Nti did not want to use that route due to his interest.

“I’ve never been against people helping my son. I can never do that, and that narrative should not be made to fester. If we had given him to Lord Kenya and my son had regained his sanity and become like Lord Kenya, it would have been a good thing, but because of his personal interest, Hammer did not want that. They are always saying the mother is behind his problems, but that is not the truth. I won’t do that to my son.”

Okomfour Kwadee’s mother’s response is a result of the Radio personality’s [Hammer Nti] claims that he sought the well being of the musician.

The radio personality is shocked that after all that he did to ensure that Okomfour Kwadee lives the best of lives, his effort hasn’t been appreciated by his mother.

“You can attest to the fact that when I was taking care of Kwadee, he looked good. Check from photos online, and you’ll know that he was better under my care than he currently is. I am officially not Kwadee’s manager, but I decided to take care of him because I love him. I’ve been with him since 2019 because he a brother and a friend I love so much.”

Hammer Nti

Many Ghanaians took to the comment section to apologise to Madam Atootaga for believing the lies spewed against her by Hammer Nti concerning Okomfo Kwadee’s predicament.

“Hheerrrr this world eeerrrr, God forgive me if I ever for once believed the story about his mom against his helpers❤️. I appreciate the fact that this woman has finally gotten the platform to vindicate herself.”

Madam Cecilia Atootaga

The mother of celebrated musician Okomfour Kwadee believes her son is not sick.

Rather, his predicament is a result of a combination of several factors.

She mentions disrespect, friends, and drug use as the major causes of his current predicament.

“My son is not sick. He is struggling because of obstinacy, bad company, and drug use. I won’t disgrace him, but this is why I believe that he has gone through challenges.”

The musician’s mother noticed that reports were suggesting she had barred her son from getting back to music.

She, however, stated that she had not done any such thing. Rather, she has asked that he take time off music and get help to sort out his current issues, and if it is the will of God for him to come back to music, he can.
