Blakk Rasta Laments Over Abu Jinapor’s Poor Performace

Blakk Rasta Names African Presidents Who Practice Family And Friends Government

Controversial radio personality, Blakk Rasta

Blakk Rasta has launched a blistering attack on former Lands Minister Abu Jinapor, accusing him of overseeing one of the worst periods of illegal mining, known locally as ‘galamsey’, in Ghana’s history.

The broadcaster bluntly described the former Lands Minister as ‘worst’.

“I have lost all respect for Abu Jinapor. He was the worst Minister this nation ever had.”

Blakk Rasta

The outspoken media personality did not mince words as he criticized the former minister’s handling of Ghana’s natural resources.

“In his reign as Minister for Lands, galamsey rose to its peak. We saw the impunity with which our nation was wrecked—our flora and fauna destroyed.”

Blakk Rasta

According to Blakk Rasta, Abu Jinapor should be ashamed of his tenure instead of calling himself a former minister. “If this was a serious country, somebody like him should be wallowing somewhere in jail,” he stated.

Despite his harsh criticism of Abu Jinapor, Blakk Rasta acknowledged a valid point raised by the former minister regarding the increasing number of government appointments.

“He has brought facts—too many people have been appointed. It’s almost as if the government is saying, ‘We won’t appoint deputy ministers,’ but instead, we see new appointments everywhere in different positions. It’s like robbing Peter to pay Paul.”

Blakk Rasta

Blakk Rasta warned that such excessive appointments could drain the nation’s resources and urged the President to be mindful of the consequences.“If you keep appointing every person who coughed in your direction during the campaign, you will end up ruining the very legacy you want to build,” he cautioned.

Despite his criticisms, he reaffirmed his support for President John Dramani Mahama.

“I love you, Mr. President, and I will continue to love you. But where we need to strengthen things, I will certainly be part of this strengthening.”

The popular media personality expressed deep concern over the growing trend of betting in Ghana, calling for an outright ban on the practice.

He claimed that gambling has become more addictive than hard drugs, yet the country has embraced it as a norm.

“Betting is very, very contagious. It hooks you even more than crack and cocaine! Yet we have decided to legalize it in this country.”

Blakk Rasta

Blakk Rasta cited research indicating that nearly half of the Ghanaian population is involved in betting.

“42% of Ghanaians are engaged in sports betting. How many Ghanaians vote? How many pay their taxes? But they will wake up and throw their hard-earned money into betting!”

Blakk Rasta

He further criticized the Gaming Commission’s recent move to clamp down on betting centers near schools and religious institutions, dismissing it as ineffective.

“You say you will shut down betting centers near churches and schools. What sense does that make? Betting can take place even in our bedrooms! The best way to fight this cancer is to ban betting entirely.”

Blakk Rasta

The controversial broadcaster argued that Ghana’s dependency on gambling reflects a deeper societal problem. “A country that throws everything to chance, instead of using scientific methods, has no future! We cannot develop if we keep betting our lives away,” he added.

The musician also slammed Ghanaians for what he describes as a lack of civil responsibility, accusing them of prioritizing gambling over their financial obligations.

“How many Ghanaians pay their electricity and water bills after using them? Yet, a nauseous percentage of gamblers are unleashed on this nation.”

Blakk Rasta

According to him, the country is experiencing misplaced priorities, where citizens refuse to pay for essential services but willingly throw their money into betting. “What kind of thinking is this?” he questioned.

He argued that this attitude reflects a deeper cultural issue of relying on luck instead of hard work.

“Everything in this country is based on chance! We don’t believe in science, in data, in planning. We believe that when we wake up, something will just happen. That’s why we are where we are!”

Blakk Rasta

He warned that if the trend continues, Ghana’s development will remain stagnant. “A nation that depends on luck and ignores responsibility has no future! Wake up, Ghana!” he stated.
