Actor and well-known content producer, Kamo State, has openly thanked actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele for her incredible support during the birth of his baby.
This occurred just hours after the actor and his wife welcomed their first child, a momentous occasion that prompted countless congratulations from fans.
A poignant video of the award-winning actress was posted on Instagram by Kamo State, who also included a long statement full of love, gratitude, and admiration.
He described Funke Akindele as his “dearest godmother” and described her as “an angel in human form,” providing constant support during his wife’s pregnancy and delivery.
Kamo disclosed that Akindele was prepared to take his wife to the United States for delivery, even though he had told her about the pregnancy late.
He described how she supported him during his most trying times at the hospital and called every day to see how his wife, Esther, was doing, particularly when he didn’t answer her calls.
“Even when I told you about the pregnancy late, you were ready to fly my wife to the US for the baby’s birth. You told your driver and security details to follow us to the hospital even if we call them in the midnight.”

The film producer continued by showcasing the actress’s unselfish kindness, which included hiring one of Lagos’ top physicians and paying for all of the hospital costs, regularly praying for his family, and providing clothing and catering for the impending baby’s naming ceremony.
“IYAMI IYAMI, your generosity knows no bounds, and your love is a gift I cherish every single day. I owe you so much, and I’ll spend a lifetime trying to repay the kindness you’ve shown me.”
