Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has revealed his ambitious plans following his upcoming US wedding.
The singer, who has been on a successful international run, shared that his next major move will be announcing an African Stadium Tour, a bold step that marks his continued dominance on the global music scene.
According to Davido, the tour will be preceded by a well-deserved break. He emphasised the need to spend quality time with his family after a hectic schedule, noting how back-to-back engagements have kept him constantly moving.
As part of this personal reset, the artist also mentioned that his family would be moving into a new, much bigger mansion.
Beyond music, OBO is expanding his influence into other areas of entertainment. He disclosed that he is executive producing a movie set to be released soon, alongside working on a documentary that will give fans deeper insight into his life and career. These projects reflect the artist’s growing interests beyond the studio and stage.
He also hinted at plans for a European tour and teased that new music is on the way. With a wedding, new home, continental tour, and multimedia projects all lined up, Davido’s post-wedding calendar is packed with milestones that show no signs of slowing down his momentum.
The video, as expected, elicited a variety of reactions from netizens who hailed the singer and some who criticised him, accusing him of copying Wizkid because he talked about working on a documentary too.

Meanwhile, an aide to the governor of Delta state, Ossai Success Ovie, has stirred a fresh debate in the polity by expressing disappointment at the music star for heading to Miami, Florida, United States, for his white wedding.
According to Ossai, the whole ceremony is a waste of money.
The governor’s aide shared a post on his Facebook page.
“Davido and Chioma’s white wedding this weekend in Miami is a waste of money and i am disappointed. Having too much money doesn’t mean you should carelessly spend it. Dangote, Ossai Ovie Success , Elon musk and Mark Zuckerberg won’t waste money like this. What is the essence of white wedding in Florida when your lavish traditional marriage is over a year. I am really disappointed.”
