Nigerian singer, Spyro, has penned an emotional congratulatory message to Davido and Chioma following their lavish Miami white wedding.
In a heartfelt Instagram post on August 11, 2025, the “Who’s Your Guy” hitmaker shared how the singer had been a loyal friend long before he became famous.
“I don’t have a lot of friends in the industry, but you @davido have stuck with me way before fame, so e pain me say na video I just de watch all through ‘cos you really deserve the best brother,” Spyro wrote. “As I no sha de my song sha de, make I take that one de see front first 🤣.”
Spyro went on to reminisce about the night in 2018 when he first met Chioma.
According to him, the meeting happened at Davido’s home after he had gone to personally invite the Afrobeats star to his show at Hard Rock Café.
“That was the first day I met her with her pictures already plastered on your walls, and now, several years down the line, you guys are married 😬. GOD will keep you two together, IJN, the enemy will not rejoice over this one 🙏🏿. I LOVE YOU, BROTHER, and thank you for being you.”

Young Thug, who is still serving a ban from public appearances following his release from jail on October 31, 2024, after pleading no contest in his RICO case, didn’t make it to the wedding but FaceTimed with the couple on their wedding day to congratulate them.
Davido’s aide, Tycoone, shared a screen recording of the FaceTime via his Instagram story on Sunday, with Davido’s Shopping Spree featuring Young Thug and Chris Brown playing in the background.
In the video, the rapper could be seen smiling and waving at the couple.
Davido, Chioma Sing Stonebwoy’s ‘Go Higher’ at Wedding Party
Ghanaian dancehall musician Stonebwoy and his wife, Dr Louisa Satekla, were guests at the white wedding of Nigerian musician Davido and his wife Chioma Adeleke.
Stonebwoy and his ever-gorgeous wife, Dr Louisa Satekla, were among the several guests who were invited to the nuptials of the Afrobeats star and Chioma.
The ‘Activate’ crooner was dressed in all black with the jacket designed with sparkling elements, while his wife wore a corseted gown made of gold lace.
In videos sighted on the Instagram page of famous Ghanaian blogger GHHyper, the ‘Gidigba’ crooner was captured performing his top-charting songs of all time at the ceremony.
Guests sang along, and Davido’s wife, Mrs Adeleke, in her sparkling blue corseted gown, was seen dancing energetically while singing Stonebwoy’s Go Higher word for word.
Davido joined in during Stonebwoy’s performance as they sang in unison. Some guests moved to the front of the stage to join the newlyweds in dancing.
