A Ghanaian preacher, Prophet Lamptey Joe, has courted attention online after he shared his prophecy about Stonebwoy.
The prophecy shared online indicated that the award-winning musician is meant to receive a heavenly encounter, which will make him transition into a preacher.
He claimed that the artist’s transition into ministry will happen through a coma after which the musician his “end-time assignment” will be clear.
Prophet Joe Lamptey said he had received the revelations about the ‘Into The Future’ hitmaker about seven times and was sure that it was going to happen.
“With the prophetic eye, I perceive and speak forth with all boldness and prophetic assurance. Seven times conservatively, I have had revelations about our Ghanaian Afropop and Afro-dancehall artist, Stonebwoy, becoming a great preacher with prophetic grace in our dispensation, endowed with great insight into the Word.
“In my vision, Stonebwoy will receive a heavenly invitation through a coma, and through this, he will be prepared for his end-time assignment. This will happen soon. The Lord said to me, ‘Stonebwoy will experience a strong heat of fire in his belly and body, and he will miss eight stage performances.’ This will be a sign that his time is due for his call mandate to be fulfilled.”

According to the prophet, the artists’ days are numbered.
“Stonebwoy, I say to you, you are the eyes of the Lord, and you have been endowed with divine giftings beyond being a Dancehall musician. Your days are numbered! The clock is ticking, and surely this will happen.”

Dr Louisa Defends Stonebwoy

Dr. Louisa Satekla, wife of Ghanaian dancehall star Stonebwoy, came to her husband’s defence after social media claims suggested he was seen picking up money sprayed during his performance at Nigerian Afrobeats singer Davido’s recent wedding in Miami.
Addressing the rumours from Davido’s wedding in a post on X, Dr. Louisa dismissed the accusations as unfounded and driven by evil and mischief.
She clarified that the viral video showed Stonebwoy bending down to retrieve his diamond bracelet, which had accidentally fallen off, not to collect dollar bills.
“It’s so crazy how some people think. You can clearly see his diamond bracelet fall off and he bends to pick it up, but because of evil and mischief you choose to believe he picked $1??? Some people’s mindset really explains a lot about who they really are…smh.”

The video in question was taken during Stonebwoy’s lively performance at the star-studded ceremony, where he entertained guests with some of his hit tracks.
While the video quickly fueled online speculation, Dr. Louisa’s response firmly seeks to put the matter to rest.

However, Efia Odo also set the record straight in a social media post.
“He literally picked up his bracelet that came off his wrist! Bibini diɛr,” she wrote, dismissing the unfounded assumptions circulating online.
In the comment section of Dr Satekla’s post, many people applauded her for standing up for her husband, Stonebwoy.
Others also analysed the video and urged others to refrain from spreading false news about the dancehall musician.
