The UK Government is set to deepen economic and strategic ties with the United States through a major international expo in Los Angeles, aimed at showcasing the strength and future potential of transatlantic partnerships.
The Greater Together LA event, which is part of the GREAT Britain and Northern Ireland Campaign, will take place from May 18 to 22, 2026, bringing together innovators, business executives, and political leaders from both nations to discuss new prospects for growth, investment, and cooperation.
The expo comes at a time when the economic relationship between the UK and the US remains one of the most significant in the world, with mutual investments exceeding $1.5 trillion and a trading relationship valued at $413 billion.
This partnership supports approximately 2.6 million jobs across both economies, underlining its critical importance.
In light of this, Greater Together LA is positioned as a forum to strengthen these connections while investigating how both countries may work together to address new global issues and take advantage of fresh economic possibilities brought about by innovation and technological progress.
According to Secretary of State for Business and Trade, Peter Kyle, the event will be supported by presenting partners British Airways and American Airlines, with prominent political and corporate delegates flying to Los Angeles on a specially designated British Airways charter flight.

He noted that TSL, a technical engineering and construction company, and PwC, a professional services organization, are also main partners in Greater Together LA. The TSL Business Lounge will offer possibilities for deal-making, while PwC will sponsor the Expo’s two-day thought leadership event titled “Unexpected Connections”.
