Chelsea have completed the signing of England international Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa, with the forward agreeing a long-term contract that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2033.
The 23-year-old joins the Club World champions ahead of the 2026/27 season after the two clubs reached an agreement for his transfer on Saturday. A record fee of £117 million for a British player was agreed for the move to materialize.
Rogers subsequently completed his medical examinations on Monday following his return from the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America.
Chelsea moved quickly to secure the services of one of the Premier League’s most highly rated young attackers, beating competition from several top clubs including Premier League champions Arsenal, who had identified the England star as a major target.
