Mr. Logic Advises LilWin

LilWin, Mr. Logic, and Martha Ankomah

Entertainment pundit, Mr. Logic has weighed in on the legal battle between Ghanaian actors LilWin and Martha Ankomah.

According to him, LilWin should apologize to the actress for his defamatory remarks.

Mr. Logic said LilWin should humble himself and use the same medium he used to verbally abuse the actress to apologize to her.

He noted that the lawsuit filed by Martha Ankomah, which is seeking GH¢5 million in damages, should not be taken lightly.

“Honestly, I think LilWin should humble himself and render a public apology because it’s not a joke; a 5 million Ghana cedis suit is not something you should beat about the bush,” he revealed.

“The same medium he used to abuse this lady verbally, he should use it to apologize. I’m sure there will be some intervention somehow. He should just apologize,” he said.

Mr. Logic further added that it was right to hold people accountable for their actions and words.

“I agree with Martha for going to court, it’s the right thing to do. We need to start holding people responsible for some of the things that they do and say. So LilWin should humble himself and apologize,” he said.

Mr. Logic advised LilWin not to claim that he was only acting, as there are videos implicating him.

LilWin is currently facing a lawsuit from Martha Ankomah, demanding Gh¢5 million in damages for the defamatory statements he made about her in a viral video.

In the video, LilWin accused the actress of being ungrateful, arrogant, and looking down on Kumawood actors. He also accused her of depending on men to sponsor her.

In return, Martha Ankomah sued him on February 14, 2024, for defamation.

Expressing Displeasure With LilWin’s Choice

Mr. Logic expressed his displeasure with actor LilWin’s choice of Nigerian actors for his forthcoming movie, ‘A Country Called Ghana.’

Mr. Logic noted that he did not understand why LilWin would cast Nigerian actors in a movie that is supposed to portray Ghanaian patriotism and culture.

He admitted that working with Nigerian actors could help the movie reach a wider audience and get the project on an international platform like Netflix. Still, he was worried that the movie would deprive Ghanaian actors of the chance to showcase their skills and talents.

Mr. Logic stressed the need to support and develop the local film industry.

“It’s a good one because of the agenda to get onto Netflix. But to continue doing the same thing for commercial purposes, I don’t think it’s advisable. The Ghanaian movie industry is still under the carpet. So it’s best if he lifts the industry by lifting young talents like Fifi Coleman is doing,” he said.

“Why are you making a movie named ‘A Country Called Ghana’ and featuring Nigerians in it? We should put Ghanaian actors and stories first, stories that connect with our people. It’s about uplifting our own,” he further added.

Mr. Logic also expressed concern about the possible cultural distortion that could result from having prominent Nigerian actors in the movie.

According to him, if the script is not well done, Ghanaians may be disrespected in the movie if too much creative power is given to Nigerians.

“The next thing you see, they will be mocking us in the movie. Can’t you have some Ghanaians in the movie? Do you think if Nigerians are doing a movie titled ‘A Country Called Nigeria,’ they will feature Ghanaians? I am not saying it’s a bad concept, the collaboration is great. But I’m saying that he should have put major Ghanaian acts on it since he’s telling a Ghanaian story,” he urged.
