Ghanaian-Italian songstress Sister Deborah has opened up about why she accepted the offer to perform at rapper Medikal’s headline concert at Indigo at the O2 in London on May 3, 2024.
Sister Deborah stated that she did not show up for the concert and perform with Medikal to cause confusion or rift between the rapper and his supposed ex-wife, Fella Makafui.
Contrary to reports that she surprised Medikal by appearing on stage, Sister Deborah clarified that he [Medikal] personally invited her to his sold-out concert, and she did not have any problem with it because they have songs together and he is her friend.
“It wasn’t to cause anything. It was basically to support my friend slash, my sweet ex. I wanted to come here to support, and he also wanted me on the show. I didn’t have any problem with that because we have made music together, and he’s my friend.”

She explained that Medikal wanted her to perform their collaboration, “Too Risky,” and as a professional, she accepted the invitation without hesitation.
Addressing concerns about sharing a stage with her ex-lover, Sister Deborah stated that their professional relationship transcends their romantic history.
She stated that they have previously performed together post-breakup at various events in Ghana, therefore, their joint appearance in London should not be a cause for controversy.
When asked if they have reconciled, she replied, “Oh, why and how”, indicating that their romantic chapter is still over.
However, she was quick to add that, they are still friends and will forever be sweet exes.
Despite cheating on her with his current estranged wife, Fella Makafui, Sister Derby stated that she is no sadist to jubilate over their feud.
She added that, she has no hand in their marital issues and that the cause of their rift can only be addressed by the couples themselves.
Medikal Brags After A Successful Show In London
Ghanaian musician Samuel Adu Frimpong has revealed that people underestimate his brand as a top rapper. He revealed that the venue for his maiden concert in London was too small, and most of his fans were outside due to the small capacity of the Indigo O2.
he revealed that the show started late because his fans didn’t show up on time.
“You see, a lot of people underestimate Medikal as a brand. Right now. I am talking about Medikal as a company. This is Samuel talking to you about the company. At the end of the day, the way we promoted this event, it was only right that people came up in their numbers. They ended up coming late and it made the show delay because here they work with time.
“We were supposed to end the show at 11.00. We would have paid more money if we exceeded the agreed time like 300,000 pounds. I am a poor person and I don’t have that kind of money. I will get the money only after the show. I wasn’t ready to breach the contract or agreement.”

According to him, his fans didn’t come on time, stating that he doesn’t blame anyone.
“Some people went to work and their off time didn’t favor the show. All these have made it clear to me that the next time I will do something in London I will be a big venue. The venue was too small. The venue was too small honestly. I didn’t know it would happen like this. The next venue will be O2 Arena so that everyone will be able to come and have fun.”
