Ghanaian actress cum media personality, Xandy Kamel, has opened up on what she describes as the unfair treatment she endured while she was working at Angel TV.
Xandy, while expressing her frustration, narrated how she was treated poorly despite giving her best to the company.
She said she was laid off without any clear explanation, adding that she was asked to stay home after a change in management.
“Someone had damaging evidence about the owner of Angel TV, and I had to go behind the scenes and plead with him to delete it. To wake up one morning only to hear there had been a change in management and I should stay home until further notice is heartbreaking.”
“I’ve been at home for the past three years. They only paid us when I called to inquire about my return, but even then, salaries came for three months and stopped. I couldn’t keep calling them about it.”
Kamel thinks the problem is due to managerial changes which occur almost every year.
Xandy Kamel further explained how she initially joined Angel TV to host a show but ended up hosting three different programs without asking for a salary increase.
“I was paid GHC2,000, and I did all these things for peanuts. To be treated unfairly after giving my all is an insult.”
The media personality also highlighted the poor working conditions faced by staff at Angel TV, even in life-threatening situations.
“Angel TV took a lot from me. I couldn’t do things for myself because I was doing three shows and even worked as a producer. Sometimes, we would finish late at night with no driver to take us home. The staff is often left vulnerable and attacked. Management there is terrible.”

While social media users are bashing Prophet Ogyaba amidst the drama with his side chick, actress and media personality Xandy Kamel took a rather unconventional stance.
Xandy Kamel expressed mixed feelings about the situation.
Though she did not outright condemn Prophet Ogyaba’s actions, she was baffled by one particular detail: why he would bring his alleged side chick into his matrimonial home.
“My problem is why would Ogyaba bring a side chick to his matrimonial home? I have to meet him and give him a piece of my mind for doing that.
“Do whatever you want, but why bring her into the home? That’s where my problem lies, but apart from that, I don’t have an issue with what he did.”

Xandy further applauded the prophet for at least owning up to his actions, noting that it takes courage for a man who loves his wife to publicly admit to infidelity.
“I like that he came out and admitted that he slept with the lady. It could be that she was blackmailing him. No man who loves his wife would be bold enough to publicly admit to cheating.”

Her comments sparked outrage among social media users as many descended on her for being hypocritical, especially because she was ranting for years over being cheated on by her husband.
Moreover, Xandy Kamel, exclusively disclosed that she’s now fully engaged. She confirmed that she’s now in a very serious romantic relationship.
Although she smartly refused to give any juicy details about her new lover, she insisted she’s deeply in love with him and she thinks he’s also madly in love with her.
As stated by Xandy Kamel, she’s keeping her love life under wraps for now, and at the appropriate time, Ghanaians will get to know more about her newly found sweetheart.
