Ghanaian media personality, Oheneni Adazoa, has announced her withdrawal from political activism after feeling abandoned by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) following her vigorous campaign efforts in the recent general elections.
Speaking on a YouTube talk show, Adazoa expressed dismay at the lack of acknowledgment from NPP leaders after the party’s electoral defeat.
Adazoa, a well-known host on Sompa FM/TV, revealed that despite her significant contributions to the NPP’s campaign, only the party’s running mate and former Power Minister, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, reached out to her post-election.
“They completely ignored me,” she said, noting that no other party leader, including NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia or campaign strategist Miracle Aboagye, contacted her to express gratitude.
Dr. Prempeh, she added, was the sole exception, gifting her items during the Christmas season. The media personality’s experience has led her to vow to steer clear of politics moving forward.
“I’ve now stopped politics. I’m not going to fight for someone because they are going for a certain position.”

Adazoa declared her intent to focus on her social affairs program.
When host Akoto Mansa suggested that the NPP’s shock at losing the election might explain the oversight, Adazoa countered that party leaders still celebrated Christmas in their homes but failed to show appreciation to supporters like herself.
Her candid remarks have sparked discussions about the treatment of grassroots campaigners in Ghanaian politics.
Oheneni Adazoa Shares Ordeal, Miraculous Relief

The Ghanaian media personality and advocate for women struggling with childlessness has shed light on a painful pregnancy experience that she will never forget.
Oheneni Adazoa, who is hoping to conceive for the first time after over 20 years of marriage, told her story. According to the Sompa FM presenter, health experts confirmed that she was pregnant.
However, four months later, the doctors strangely told her they couldn’t find any baby in her womb despite her experiencing symptoms.
“My stomach continued to grow. I walked with that pregnancy for two years. If you saw me at that time, I was five times my size. It felt like I’ll give birth tomorrow. My feet were swollen. There was acne all over my face.”

She described the intense physical and emotional toll the condition took on her.
Oheneni, who has been married for over two decades without conceiving, said her situation baffled doctors.

Adazoa credited her eventual relief to spiritual intervention from Reverend OB of Ghana’s Moments of Glory Prayer Army (MOGPA), whose prayers she said resolved her ordeal.
“Reverend prayed for me and told me to go home. After the prayer session, I was asleep when I had a strange dream. In the dream, I felt nauseous. When I threw up in the dream, a large egg came out. It broke when it fell. I won’t be able to tell what was in the egg. But when I woke up, my bulging stomach was now flat.”

“This thing is not spiritual. I know someone who carried pregnancy for 5 years. but at the end, doctors said it’s not pregnancy.”
