Multiple award-winning Ghanaian media personality, Peace Hyde has made a historic deal with Netflix as she has been credited as the Executive Producer of a star-studded reality TV show which is considered to be “the biggest thing to hit the African continent”.
The British-Ghanaian TV Host who doubles as an entrepreneur, can now brag as the Creator and Executive Producer of the first-ever African Reality series that will be exclusive to the globally known movie streaming platform.
The excited TV personality took to her Instagram timeline to share the news. Sharing some pictures of the stars that will feature in the reality series, Peace Hyde wrote:
“We are making African history-telling our stories and I am so honored, excited, and ready.
“It’s been a lot of sleepless nights and early mornings but the dream has finally paid off. Excited to finally share that I am, a CREATOR and EXECUTIVE PRODUCER of the first-ever Netflix original Africa Reality TV series, ‘YOUNG, FAMOUS AND AFRICAN’ starring this superstar cast. Get ready world the Africans are coming!!”

The reality series, ‘Young, Famous and African’, will feature Pan African superstars such as Diamond Platnumz from Tanzania, Annie Macaulay Idibia from Nigeria, Swanky Jerry from Nigeria, south African superstars Nadia Nakai, Khanyi Mbau, Andile Ncube, and Naked DJ alongside other entertainment heavyweights on the continent.

Well, according to the stars who revealed their series tagline in Instagram posts, the show promises to be exciting as it gives rare access into their ‘celebrity world’.
Tanzanian popular musician, Diamond Platnumz for instance wrote: “From Tandale to the world… Go behind the scenes of what it takes to be an African Icon to the world with @netflixsa and @naijaonnetflix’s first African reality TV show, featuring your one and only SIMBA! You don’t want to miss this. #YoungFamousAndAfrican #wasafi #SwahiliNation #WCB4LIFE”

South African musician and media personality, Khanyi Mbau Metanoia also wrote: “WELCOME TO MY WORLD! A Netflix GLOBAL first! Are you ready?”.

That notwithstanding Nigerian celebrity fashion stylist, Jeremiah Ogbodo, who is popularly known as Swanky Jerry wrote: “Want a taste of the SWANKY LIFE? Catch me on Netflix. The thing about being the first is that there will never be another first”.

Nonetheless, Nigerian actress, Annie Macaulay also wrote: “Gosh… I had to pinch myself severally to be sure this wasn’t a dream! Guys, we cannot sleep on this! Soo, soo proud of this project. This is a massive project!”
