Deliver Well Plus Limited, a service provider to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, has converted a commercial supply cost of GH¢181,500 into a corporate social responsibility contribution, honouring the Hospital’s leadership in the process.
The company had originally supplied cleaning materials valued at GH¢181,500 to the Hospital under a commercial agreement. However, as part of its appreciation for the Chief Executive’s leadership and the Hospital’s commitment to providing quality healthcare, Deliver Well Plus Limited announced that it had decided to forgo the full amount due, effectively turning the cost of the supplies into a goodwill gesture toward the Hospital.
The gesture was presented during a ceremony at which the Chief Executive of the Hospital, Dr Yakubu Seidu Adam, was honoured with a citation in recognition of his exemplary leadership, dedication to healthcare delivery, and his instrumental role in the successful construction and commissioning of the Hospital’s new Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory.
Receiving the gesture on behalf of the Hospital, Dr Adam expressed profound gratitude to Deliver Well Plus Limited for the honour and generosity, commending the company for its continued partnership with the Hospital over the years.
In a further show of commitment to improving patient care, Dr Adam announced that the GH¢181,500 would be channelled to support the Department of Child Health’s 100 x 100 Project, ensuring that the converted funds go directly toward strengthening healthcare services for children at the facility.
His decision to redirect the contribution toward a specific department reflects a broader effort by Hospital management to ensure that goodwill gestures from partners translate into measurable improvements in patient care, rather than remaining a symbolic gesture alone.

Presenting the citation and making the announcement, the Principal Consultant of Deliver Well Plus Limited, Mr William Ato Essien, paid tribute to the leadership of both the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital and the National Cardiothoracic Centre for their dedication to providing specialised healthcare services.
