Stonebwoy’s BHIM Festival has once again demonstrated the strength of its fan base. Early bird General Access tickets for the 2026 edition sold out within minutes of their official release, according to announcements shared by the artiste and confirmed across fan platforms.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, 24 December 2026, at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Legon, Accra.
Stonebwoy, who founded and continues to head the festival, posted about the rapid sell-out with the message “Early Birds Flown Out!! BHIM IS A NATION,” directing fans to the official site for remaining tickets.
BHIM Festival
BHIM Festival has grown from a homecoming celebration in Ashaiman into one of Ghana’s largest artist-driven live music events. It brings together Afro-Dancehall, Afrobeats, Reggae, Highlife and Dancehall on a single stage and regularly attracts tens of thousands of attendees.
Previous editions at Accra Sports Stadium drew more than 40,000 people, while the festival has also hosted international stars such as Beenie Man, Morgan Heritage, Busy Signal, Davido, Spice and others.
The 2026 edition follows the festival’s tenth anniversary celebrations in 2025 and a landmark international debut earlier this year. In August 2026, Stonebwoy headlined a sold-out BHIM Festival at London’s OVO Arena Wembley, becoming the first Ghanaian artiste to sell out the 12,500-capacity venue.

That success has added further momentum heading into the Christmas Eve home show.
Tickets remain available in higher categories through the official website bhimfestival.com and by dialling 7142026#. General Admission is listed at GHS 200 for standard access, with upgraded options including General Admission Plus and the BHIM Circle package that offers closer pitch access and additional perks. Organisers have emphasised that early bird pricing was limited and that remaining tickets will be sold at regular rates.
Public Reaction
The choice of the University of Ghana Sports Stadium marks a return to a major Accra venue capable of handling large crowds and enhanced production. Fans have already begun discussing expectations for stage design, with some calling for a 360-degree setup to maximise the experience.
The festival traditionally combines high-energy performances with cultural elements and social impact programming focused on sustainability, inclusion and community.
Stonebwoy’s consistent ability to sell out major shows underscores the loyalty of the BHIM Nation. The rapid disappearance of the cheapest tickets mirrors previous years when demand consistently outstripped early supply. Organisers have not yet released the full 2026 line-up, but the pattern of past editions suggests a mix of established Ghanaian acts, rising talents and selected international guests.
The Christmas Eve timing positions BHIM Festival as a key highlight of Ghana’s festive calendar. For many fans it has become an annual tradition that blends music, celebration and national pride. With early bird tickets gone, attention now shifts to securing remaining categories and awaiting further artist announcements in the coming weeks.

Stonebwoy continues to expand the BHIM brand both at home and abroad. The successful London edition earlier this year and the immediate ticket response for the Accra date signal that the festival remains a powerful draw. As December approaches, the UG Sports Stadium is expected to fill once again with the energetic crowd that has defined BHIM Festival for more than a decade.
Fans who missed the early bird window are advised to purchase remaining tickets promptly through the official channels. The combination of Stonebwoy’s headlining performance, the festival’s established reputation and the holiday date points to another memorable night for Ghanaian live music.
