Prime Video has officially announced the premiere date for the second season of its popular college hockey romance series Off Campus. The new season will begin streaming on April 28, 2027. The news was shared directly by the streamer in a short promotional video that has quickly circulated among fans.
Off Campus, created by Louisa Levy and based on the bestselling book series by Elle Kennedy, follows an elite ice hockey team at Briar University and the women in their lives as they navigate love, friendship, heartbreak and self-discovery. The first season, which premiered on May 13, 2026, centered on the developing romance between quiet music student Hannah Wells (Ella Bright) and star hockey player Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli).
It performed strongly for the streamer, reaching 36 million viewers worldwide in its first 12 days and ranking as one of Prime Video’s most-viewed series debuts.
About Season 2
Season 2 will shift the central focus to Allie Hayes and Dean Di Laurentis, a pairing that generated significant fan interest during the first season. Their story draws from Kennedy’s novels in the Off Campus universe. Returning series regulars include Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli, ensuring Hannah and Garrett remain part of the ensemble. Additional returning cast members include Antonio Cipriano as John Logan and Jalen Thomas Brooks as John Tucker.
India Fowler joins as a series regular, while Julia Sarah-Stone, Khobe Clarke, Miles Gutierrez-Riley and Phillipa Soo are set to recur. Charlie Evans and Shay Rudolph will appear in guest roles.
The relatively short gap between seasons is notable in the current streaming landscape. Prime Video renewed Off Campus for a second season in February 2026, months before the first season even premiered, reflecting early confidence in the project’s potential.
High Viewership
That decision has paid off, as the series has maintained strong viewership and continued to rank among the platform’s top titles months after its debut.
The show’s blend of sports, romance and coming-of-age drama has resonated particularly with younger audiences. Its roots in Kennedy’s widely read novels, which have a dedicated following in the romance and “BookTok” communities, provided a built-in base of interest that the adaptation successfully expanded.

By moving relatively quickly into production and setting an April 2027 release, the streamer aims to sustain momentum while the first season remains fresh in viewers’ minds.
Filming for the new season took place earlier in 2026. The announcement arrives as fans have been actively discussing theories and expressing anticipation for Allie and Dean’s expanded storyline. The promotional video’s lighthearted tone matches the series’ mix of steamy romance and campus energy, offering a brief but effective reminder of the characters audiences have come to enjoy.
Off Campus is produced by Temple Hill, with Louisa Levy and Gina Fattore serving as co-showrunners and executive producers. Additional executive producers include Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen and others from the production team behind the adaptation.

With the premiere date now locked in, viewers can mark their calendars for late April 2027. Until then, the full first season remains available to stream on Prime Video. The confirmation of Season 2 reinforces the series’ position as a significant title in the streamer’s original programming slate and signals continued investment in stories drawn from popular contemporary romance literature.
The return of the Briar University hockey players and their circle of friends is expected to deliver more of the interpersonal drama, humor and romantic tension that defined the opening season. For fans of the books and the series alike, the April 28 date offers a clear target for the next chapter in the Off Campus story.
