Allianz Life Insurance has been named the Best Insurance Company of the Year 2021 for its outstanding performance throughout the year.
The insurance company won this coveted prize in part because of its unique insurance policies and its involvement in revolutionizing insurance practices in the country.
The Insurance Company of the Year award saw many strong nominations evaluated across key standards of innovation, customer service, CSR, and competitive pricing.
The nominations illustrated the many firms’ different approaches to excellence and strategy, but Allianz Life Insurance outperformed the others across the board.
The prize also acknowledged Allianz Life’s creative product launches and attractive media campaigns, which have helped the company gain a strong following.
Mrs. Jane Kitome, Chief Retail & Marketing Officer of Allianz Life Insurance posited that the honor is a testimonial to the brand’s acceptance in the Ghanaian market and the dedication of all Allianz Life workers.
Mrs. Kitome complimented the Allianz Life organizers and customers for choosing the company, saying that “the award would spur us on in our efforts towards ever-increasing product and service quality.”
Best Growing Company of the year
This is not the company’s first award in 2021; after only three years in Ghana, Allianz Life Insurance Ghana also won the coveted honor of Best Growing Company of the Year, demonstrating the company’s commitment to satisfying client needs and providing high-quality service.
Allianz Life furthermore was determined to have a track record of consistent growth and exhibited product portfolio leadership in 2021. It was also concluded that Allianz Life had maintained its market visibility while maintaining a laser-like focus on overall profitability.
The award winners were chosen by an impartial advisory board that evaluated nominees based on a lot of factors.
Partnership with PAT
Allianz Life has also teamed up with Pensions Alliance Trust to offer a life insurance benefits package to their pension subscribers at no additional cost.
Ras Boateng, the CEO of Pension Alliance Trust, stated during the unveiling that the relationship with Allianz Life Insurance will allow PAT contributors to get even more value out of their pension contributions because they will not have to wait until retirement to start reaping these additional advantages.
Commenting on the importance of planning for one’s retirement, Mr. Boateng said “So long as you find yourself in the corporate world, you will one day retire. The issue is, would you want to retire in wealth or in poverty?”
According to Gideon Ataraire, CEO of Allianz Life Insurance Ghana, the company has honed the art of creating life insurance policies that are sensitive to people’s needs over the years and has forged several partnerships with corporate entities to ensure that as many people as possible are covered by life insurance. He further said that by working with Pensions Alliance Trust, the two organizations will be able to use their respective skills to meet PAT’s pension contributors’ insurance needs.
