Rising food demand requires innovation in agriculture practice, leading to the need to adopt new technology, crop protection, irrigation facilities, improved warehousing for production, and a few.

The exhibition is slated to host over 6000 visitors and more than 200 buyers and or partners from over 15 countries. The show has over 150 exhibitors, including brands and sponsors.

The entire agricultural machinery world would be at the show, including tractors and farming inputs.

Various Agric Stakeholders to participate

People from the agriculture industries, traders and importers, dealers and agents, distributors and suppliers, agronomists, engineers and technicians, exporters and importers, farmers and consortiums, the general public, government officials, trade associations, and media personnel will be at the exhibition.

The event will be hosted at the Accra international conference sector because it’s the most preferred destination for hosting large-scale business events and conferences, mainly due to its attractive location near the Kotoka International airport and close to several luxurious accommodations options in Accra. The Association of Ghana Industries (AGI), among others, are partners of this event.

Ghana, a strategic entry-point to West Africa’s Market

Ghana is becoming the center of business and agriculture transformation in the West Africa region, emerging as a trading, manufacturing, and logistic hub with better and more conducive trade policies and duty structures.

Agriculture technology, undoubtedly the most significant demand and requirement in Ghana and the West African region after pharmaceuticals, is identified as a critical area to be worked for employment and development.

Government schemes like the Planting for food and jobs and planting for exports co-located with 1District 1 Factory scheme are expected to attain agriculture and food processing self-sufficiency and exports hence, the need for an exhibition of this type.

Ghana has also targeted a double-digit growth in crop production like maize, rice, soybean, and sorghum and increased employment in the agriculture sector to about 750,000, which can only be possible when technology is utilized effectively.
