Reality TV star and estranged wife of singer 2Baba, Annie Idibia, has returned to social media following her hiatus since January 2025.
The actress was seen on Instagram on March 26, 2025, liking Ini Edo’s latest post. However, it was soon observed that her page had been cleared, and all pictures over the past few years had been deleted, except an old story highlight of their daughter Olivia.
Even though all her pictures were deleted, all her previously posted reels were still intact, including the ones of herself and her estranged husband.
Many may not have known the extent of Annie Idibia and Ini Edo’s friendship, but their feature on Young Famous and African exposed that side of them.
By now, it is no longer news that Nollywood actress, Ini Edo, on Friday, March 21, buried her father in Akwa Ibom state as videos from the event emerged on social media.
Many Nigerian celebrities travelled down to show her love and support during this tough time for her family.
Annie Idibia may not have been there physically, but she left a love emoji on the said post, to show her friend, Ini Edo how much she cared about her. This came amid Annie Idibia’s drastic action on her official Instagram page.
Her fans and followers promptly took to social media to celebrate her return, voicing their support for her.
“You have every right to start afresh! Reset! Restart! Refocus! You can Annie! God is your strength.”

2Baba, Natasha Shops Amid Divorce from Annie Idibia
Despite growing disapproval of their romance amid the marital crisis between Afrobeat legend 2Baba and his estranged wife, Annie Idibia, his new partner, Natasha, may have hinted that wedding bells are ringing sooner than expected.
The pair recently visited popular Abuja-based clothier Seyi Vodi, and Natasha, seemingly unaware that cameras were rolling, casually asked when the wedding dress would be ready.
The slip has since set tongues wagging, fueling speculation about their impending nuptials.
2Baba and Natasha’s relationship has been a subject of intense public scrutiny, with many questioning the timing of their affair, especially as Annie Idibia remains vocal about her struggles in their marriage.
Annie Idibia, who has had a long and complicated history with the singer, has not publicly reacted to the latest development.
However, insiders say that Natasha has not only become a fixture in 2Baba’s life but is also determined to take their relationship to the next level.
“She’s not here to play. She wants to be the legal Mrs. Idibia, and from all indications, she might get her wish soon.”
A close source
What remains uncertain is whether the union will have the full backing of 2Baba’s family.
His mother, in particular, is said to be strongly opposed to the relationship and has reportedly vowed not to give her blessing to the marriage.
Family sources claim she remains supportive of Annie Idibia and believes Natasha’s presence is causing further division.
Despite the opposition, 2Baba appears unfazed. The music icon, known for his calm demeanor, has yet to make any public statement about his wedding plans. However, those close to him suggest he is resolute in his decision to move on with Natasha.
While some fans are excited about the new romance, others see it as a betrayal of Annie Idibia, who has stood by 2Baba through the ups and downs of his career and personal life.
Another major concern among critics is the emotional toll on the children involved. 2Baba shares multiple children with Annie, and many fear the ongoing drama could have a lasting impact on them.
