Ghanaian singer-songwriter Efya has rallied behind actress and socialite Moesha Boduong, who is reported to be in critical condition after suffering a stroke.

Efya is calling for support from the public to contribute to a GoFundMe campaign aimed at aiding Moesha’s recovery.

In a post on her Instagram handle, Efya called for unity in supporting Moesha and her family.

“Urgent: Let’s rally together and make a difference! Our dear friend Moesha has faced a sudden stroke, and we need your help. A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to provide crucial financial aid for their recovery journey,” she said.

“Every donation counts in this battle against adversity. Please join us in supporting Moesha and their family during this challenging time. Together, we can make a meaningful impact,” she noted.

Also, prominent Ghanaian media personality, Serwaa Amihere called on the general public to support with any amount of money they can contribute to help settle the actress’s medical bills to aid in her recovery from sickness.

She urged individuals who can support in other ways either by prayers or any other means to also put in their effort to help salvage the ailing actress from losing her life at this point.

“Let’s all support,” Serwaa Amihere wrote on her X page in response to news about Moesha needing urgent financial support and soliciting funds.

News broke out days ago that Moesha Boduong had experienced a stroke, with her brother, Ebito Boduong, confirming the reports and appealing for funds to support her treatment.

Ebito, in a statement on the GoFundMe page set up in his name, revealed that the stroke had significantly affected Moesha’s mobility and speech, necessitating urgent medical attention.

According to the statement, the funds received will cater for various expenses including therapy sessions and assistive devices.

The GoFundMe account, with a target of $10,000, has so far received $570 in donations.

Afia Schwarzenegger Reacts To Moesha’s Stroke

Afia Schwarzenegger waded into the brewing saga regarding Moesha Boduong’s ailing health and her brother’s move to solicit public funds to support the actress.

One can recall that Afia Schwarzenegger, while disclosing that Moesha suffered from a mental illness, (psychosis), also bitterly lamented how the socialite treated her with disdain after investing her resources in supporting her recovery.

Afia Schwarzenegger noted that she singlehandedly footed Moesha’s medical expenses when her other so-called friends were not ready to ‘lift a finger’, but she was repaid with evil.

Afia at that time, disclosed that Moesha, together with her family, did not pause for a second to appreciate her efforts.

She stated this and other claims as reasons for her ‘laid back attitude’ as far as the recent deterioration in Moesha’s health is concerned.

However, amid the viral GoFundMe account that has triggered a debate online, Afia Schwarzenegger, who has been keeping taps on the development has stormed social media with a reaction.

“In this life when you repay good with evil, you suffer the consequences. It’s hard to get people to help you. I am just waiting for one person to mention my name or point fingers at me for not showing concern about Moesha’s donation. When we offered our help, she brushed us off because she had one millionaire in mind,” she stated.

“I am pained about what is going on on social media because I have even helped people that I don’t even know. I’ve paid school fees for a lot of people I don’t know, most of them are here on TikTok. I am a notorious giver because I give my all. My time, money, and attention. My pastor told me about this,” she established.
