Ghanaian musician, Dennis Nana Dwamena, well known as KiDi, has advised young people to adopt the use of contraceptives if they are not ready to be parents.
According to him, bringing up children is very difficult, especially when they come at an early stage in life.
“My first advice is that wear condoms if you know you are not ready or you are at a stage of your life where you think you can’t bring another human being into this world. Use protection whatever the case may be. Even though children bring so much blessings into our lives, make plans for them and make sure you enjoy the blessings God has brought to you.”

KiDi stated that regardless of his tight schedules, he tries to spend the least time he gets with his son.
“My son is now in London because he always wants and loves to spend the summer there. It is a means for him to be away from Ghana for a while. I never want the story of celebrities abandoning their sons to be a story for me.”
KiDi
“It is very tough because of the lots of movements but I make sure anytime I am close to him, we spend much time together, especially on weekends since he will be in school on the weekdays,” he added.
He also disclosed his ambition to marry and have kids in the near future, adding that all will be done when the time is right.
“I definitely want to have more kids when the time is right. I always tell myself I wanted to have 3 kids so I have 2 more to go. I also want to get married and start a family but not now,” he stated.
The ‘Touch It’ hitmaker spoke about what he looks out for in a woman before choosing them.
According to him, he has met so many women around the world with different kinds of attitudes, characters, shapes, and sizes.
“When you travel and see so much. For every spec you have, there is someone with a better spec, I think it has to do with heart-to-heart. Yes, I want to marry a beautiful lady, but it has to be beauty inside-out.”

Warm Reception During India Visit

KiDi explained why most artists receive warmer reception when they visit foreign countries.
This comes on the back of the great reception he had in India when he worked on the collaboration of his hit song ‘Touch It’ with Tulsi Kumar.
According to him, the way individuals from Ghana will welcome him will always be different from how other countries may receive him.
“It’s not a good or bad thing. When somebody is not from your home, there is always a different reception to them because I am a Ghanaian, and people in Ghana see me a lot. It wouldn’t be the same receptive nature as compared to Chris Brown coming to Ghana.
“There is always going to be a different treatment and it’s always how life is. I am not from India so when I go there for the first time, the treatment is going to be different from artists who live in India.”

He further expressed his satisfaction with the progress the song made and made known plans to collaborate more with Tulsi.
“When you tap into a market and they accept you, always look forward to how to grow. We are looking at putting things in place to get more collaborations in that and different markets as well,” he added.
Meanwhile, the musician also mentioned his ‘fingers are crossed’ to collaborate with great people like Don Jazzy.
“I met him chilling in front of my hotel in the UK. I walked up to him and we just had a few chit-chats but fingers crossed on anything that might come out from us,” he stated.
