Kwaku Manu Preaches Self-Love After Ex-Wife Remarries In The US

Kwaku Manu and his ex-wife

Ghanaian actor, Kwaku Manu has offered some controversial advice to the general public following news of his ex-wife’s recent remarriage.

In a video posted on TikTok, the father of four entreated others to seek self-love before loving anyone else, including a spouse or children.

Kwaku Manu stated that a person could only offer genuine love to others by first loving themselves. He also called it prudent to love one’s job before loving one’s family, as earning money showed they cared.

Photos of the wedding flooded the internet and got many people talking, with some saying that the Kumawood star was heartbroken.

Kwaku Manu later shared a photo of himself and his children with Okailey on social media, with some questioning the timing of the post.

In contrast, others criticized his former wife over remarrying but in a series of videos, the actor hit back against the wave of negativity.

After numerous inquiries about his ex-wife’s recent remarriage, the Ghanaian actor finally shared his thoughts, making it clear that he is not suffering from a broken heart despite the ongoing speculation.

“Recently, people have been asking me to react to issues about my ex-wife’s remarriage. Others are also itching to know what broke our marriage. I want you to know that with issues like this, if you’re not sensible and strong, you can die or end up in destruction,”

Reassuring his fans and supporters, Manu emphasized his well-being and positive outlook. “I am very okay. I appreciate those calling me, but I am very okay. We all have the right to remarry. I am more than okay,” he stressed.

To demonstrate the amicable nature of his relationship with his ex-wife, Naa Okailey Nyarko, Kwaku Manu revealed that he has even met her new husband.

“Would you believe if I told you I know the man and I’ve met him? We even exchanged pleasantries. We shook hands!” he shared.

Reflecting on the challenges of going through a divorce, the actor acknowledged that not everyone can cope as well as he has. He expressed understanding towards those who might express their frustrations publicly. “Don’t blame anyone who vents on social media after they have encountered divorce,” Manu commented.
