Ghanaian Kumawood actor, Kwaku Manu has shared the chilling details of his colleague Nana Ama McBrown’s recent accident, highlighting the critical role her financial resources played in ensuring her timely treatment.

Kwaku Manu revealed that the accident was far more terrifying than what McBrown had previously disclosed to the public.

He recounted the events of that fateful day, underscoring the importance of McBrown’s financial resources in expediting her recovery process.

The gravity of the situation was made clear by Kwaku Manu, who emphasized the potential severity of the accident had it not been for McBrown’s financial means.

This serves as a reminder of the crucial role financial stability can play in times of crisis. “If McBrown wasn’t rich, she would’ve been armless by now. When she recounts the full details of the accident, you will marvel,” he stated.

“She told me she is the type of person that likes to keep her legs on the dashboard but on that fateful day, she didn’t have the urge to do that. So, she leaned in as they waited for the traffic light to indicate that they could drive on. Then an incoming vehicle rammed into theirs.

“McBrown said she blacked out. Fortunately, she regained consciousness before the people who came to their rescue arrived. She wasn’t aware her arm had even been cut and was hanging. Part of her arm was cut and got stuck in the car door.”

Kwaku Manu sharing more vivid details added, “She said all the bones were broken and she was only depending on just some veins.”

The actor further highlighted the indiscriminate nature of accidents, stating, that accidents do not care whether one is a star or not.

It can be recalled that McBrown disclosed that she has undergone four surgeries abroad since the incident, resulting in metal and screws being placed in her arm.

Despite these procedures, she admitted to enduring persistent pain that significantly affects her daily life and work activities.

The new movie, Single Father, will feature the comic actor on the big screens with his four children from his previous marriage to his US-based Ghanaian ex-wife, Diana Naa Okailey.

This will mark the first time in Kwaku Manu’s career that he will collaborate with his children after many years of keeping them out of the public eye.

The ‘Single Father’ movie, directed by Richard N. Appiah, will also feature prominent Ghanaian actors Prince David Osei and Jeneral Ntatia.

In the social media post, Kwaku Manu shared the date the upcoming movie will be released. “SINGLE FATHER 🎬 DROPS SOON 🔜 ON YouTube ( KM TV ) On 17th October, 2024 ❤️❤️❤️. Don’t Miss It Family,” he said.

In other related news, Kwaku Manu explained why many of his colleagues in the entertainment industry choose to relocate abroad.

According to the popular entertainer, the driving force behind this trend is often hunger and the desire for better opportunities to sustain themselves.

Kwaku Manu pointed out that while the entertainment scene in Ghana can bring fame and recognition, it does not always guarantee financial stability.

He said many stars, despite their fame, struggle to make ends meet. In foreign countries, however, there are jobs available that can help entertainers sustain themselves, providing them with a better chance at survival, which makes relocating overseas an attractive option.

However, the actor also stressed that not all entertainers who move abroad achieve success, noting that stardom makes it difficult for some stars to engage in regular jobs that can sustain them, as they feel the work is beneath them.
