Renowned record producer and entrepreneur, Edward Nana Poku Osei, widely known as Da’ Hammer, has recently expressed his admiration for the rising Ghanaian music sensation, Lasmid.
Taking to Twitter (now X) on August 1, 2023, the Hip Hop producer lauded Lasmid’s music style as “unique” setting him apart from other artists in the industry. Da’ Hammer also commended the “Friday Night” hitmaker’s consistency and encouraged him to maintain his momentum while fostering good relationships with others to progress in his craft.
He wrote:
“At this point, it’s safe to add @LASMIDOFFICIAL1 to the limited list of true unique artists who sound like nothing we’ve heard before them. The first and last of their kind. The kind of artist others try to emulate.
“This caliber is what’s known as your favorite artists. To earn your way into this list requires that you dare to be different while remaining consistent with a style that has never been heard before. You can’t fake your way into that breed”.

Da’ Hammer further expressed certainty about Lasmid’s potential, believing that if he continues on this creative path, global superstars like Drake might come knocking on his doors for collaboration in the future. He encouraged Lasmid to mend any strained relationships and move forward with full determination, as the world is full of possibilities for him.
Da’ Hammer’s praise for Lasmid’s different musical style and hard work adds him to the list of industry personalities, including the CEO of Media Excel Productions and a renowned Ghanaian music producer, Kwesi Ernest, who have also commended Lasmid’s talent and beautiful music style.

As of 2022, he had worked on songs with Sarkodie, Medikal, Kofi Kinaata, Dead Peepol, Mr. Drew, Kuami Eugene, and Amerado.
His fame soared following the release of a remix for his single “Sika”, where he collaborated with the renowned Ghanaian singer, Kuami Eugene.
