“The doctor said I would die at the age of 20 or 22 because I was diagnosed with sickle cell at a tender age.”
Nacee
Reflecting on his journey, Nacee acknowledged the critical role the doctor played in managing his condition.
Although the doctor has since passed away, Nacee expressed his gratitude.

However, despite being born into a Christian family, Nacee had to rededicate his life to Christ and undergo a transformative spiritual renewal to strengthen his faith in prayer and seek healing from the ailment.
Nacee shared, highlighting the powerful impact of his newfound faith and the transformative healing he experienced.
“I was saved by God, while in church one day, my pastor did an altar call after preaching and I wondered why I was sick when God had taken all our sickness away. I decided to get up and go forward with faith. After the pastor prayed and anointed me, till today, I have never taken any medication nor fallen sick again.”

The talented songwriter, known for his hit song ‘Aseda’, firmly believes that answered prayers are a result of unwavering faith.
He emphasizes that Christians should rely on faith as their fundamental tool during times of need.
Given his own experiences growing up, Nacee has developed a passion for assisting individuals facing destitution and challenging circumstances.

Nacee Reacts to Broda Sammy’s Utterances
Nacee, after a long silence, replied to his colleague gospel musician, Broda Sammy over some utterances he made about him some time ago.
According to Nacee, Broda Sammy is the best person to reveal that his remarks were serious or a joke.
“I didn’t confront him because my time is very precious. I don’t have the time for chasing empty barrels.”
Nacee
Nacee revealed that he heard and saw everything Broda Sammy said about him.
He stated that at the right time, he [Nacee] would react to Broda Sammy’s utterances citing a proverb.
“If he is to read meanings to things surrounding him, he would have advised himself and withdrawn from these things. Whenever he makes any post, everybody insults him and I don’t like people insulting him. He is one very gifted person and people like that are needed in the Kingdom of God.”
Nacee
The ‘Aseda’ hitmaker revealed that he does not want to make the mistake of responding to his statements out of anger and would be seen as a bad person.
He further stated that his utterances were very dangerous, urging that he should desist from them.
“Imagine you saying unless Nacee dies before you can win a Ghana Music Award, that’s a threat and police can hold you for that. How should somebody die before you can win an award? If you think you’re strong enough, why don’t you also release [songs]?
“All your career, have you released any song that when Charterhouse is shortlisting the artists, your name would be mentioned? So think about your career.”
Nacee
He revealed that he is always ready to support because he sees himself as a brother to Broda Sammy.
Broda Sammy once disclosed that Nacee has become a stumbling block, preventing him from being nominated at TGMA.
