Ghanaian-UK-based gospel singer and CEO of the RockHill church, Sonnie Badu has launched a ‘Lions over frogs’ T-shirt to help save his friend, Kwame Atta Tenadu, who has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
The artist took to social media to announce the release of the T-shirts. The T-shirt which is currently selling at 100 dollars will be limited as only 100 pieces will be on sale. Posting a four-minute video on the picture-video sharing app he wrote:
“Show me your love: Lions over frogs t-shirt are for sale to help my friend who has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. As we are in prayer believing God for his total healing, we have also decided to stand together and take action to help his family financially. I am only printing 100 limited edition t-shirts to help raise USD 10,000”.
Dr.Sonnie Badu also disclosed that his church, RockHill church will help fund Kwame Atta’s children’s education. Therefore, he called on all and sundry to help support this initiative.
“Additionally, @therockhillchurch has committed to help with each one of his children’s education. I want all my friends, supporters, and fans to participate in our endeavor to assist in helping my friend fight this battle… I will autograph each t-shirt and will mail it to you. Please help by ordering today. May God bless you all”.
Yet in another post, he noted that there are still a few more left to be sold as he thanked all those who are supporting the cause.
“Thank you. A big thank you to all who are supporting… A few more to go for us to hit the target… it will go a long way to help”.

Meanwhile, this comes just a week after Sonnie Badu described some social media users as “frogs” after he was trolled and questioned over some alleged fake educational qualifications. In response to the trolls, Sonnie Badu said “LIONS DON’T RESPOND TO FROGS”. This particular statement put some netizens in a frenzy and they cautioned him against using such harsh words. However, Sonnie Badu was unfazed about it and kept referring to himself as the “Lion of Africa”.
