American singer, Taylor Swift has announced her Eras Tour will be released in cinemas as a concert film.
The American star wrote on her social media accounts.
She said:
“The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far and I’m overjoyed to tell you that it’ll be coming to the big screen soon. Starting October 13, 2023, you’ll be able to experience the concert film in theatres in North America!.

The Eras Tour started in the US in March, wrapping up at the start of August before the star headed to Central and South America, ending in Brazil in November.
The Eras Tour was attended by more than three million fans during the first leg of its US run.
Shows in the US sold out almost instantly when they went on sale, despite multiple dates in almost every corner of the country.
There was chaos at Ticketmaster, with fans saying they were repeatedly kicked off the site, left waiting hours in queues, and in some cases, had their tickets cancelled.
AMC Theatres ramped up its capacity for ticket sales in response.
It said:
“AMC has bolstered its ticket server capacity to handle traffic at more than five times the current record for the most ever tickets sold in an hour”.

Following a break, the star will pick up the shows in Japan in February 2024, moving to Australia and Singapore before the European leg gets underway in Paris in May 2024. Taylor Swift’s UK gigs take place in June 2024, starting in Edinburgh and ending in London.
She will cross five continents and perform more than 130 concerts as part of the tour which will be one of her first big set of shows since 2018.
The UK dates are yet to take place that is why it is likely the film isn’t coming out in the UK at the same time as the US.
AMC Theatres has committed to making the film affordable, saying adult tickets will be priced at only $19.89 (£15.69) plus tax. The “theatrical concert experience” will open at cinemas in the US in October.
Taylor Swift, the first female artist to hit 100 million monthly listeners on Spotify

Taylor Swift is the first female artist to reach 100 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
Last month, it was announced that Swift has achieved more number-one albums than any other woman.
The streaming giant described the achievement as “Queen behaviour”, and it comes as the superstar continues to break records.
The 33-year-old continues to re-record her first six albums following a bitter dispute with her old label.
Taylor Swift is also passionate about her record-breaking Eras tour which has also been a big business for Ticketmaster.
Over two million tickets were sold on a single day last November, more than any artist before her.
Her sightseeing shows have made more than $1bn (£790m) through ticketing and merchandise.
A whopping 69,000 fans turned up to watch the opening night of her tour in Arizona, overtaking Madonna to become the most-attended concert by a female artist in the US.
Earlier this month, Swift announced that her next re-recorded album – 1989 (Taylor’s Version) – will be released on 27 October.
She’s declared that it’s her favourite yet – and it’ll feature five extra tracks that didn’t make it onto the original recording. It was first released in 2014, with hit singles including ‘Shake It Off’, ‘Blank Space’ and ‘Bad Blood’.
