THOSE WHO ARE SUPPOSED TO SUPPORT US ARE TRASHING US – KIDI LAMENTS OVER BACKLASH OF GHANAIAN ARTISTES

M.Cby M.C
March 15, 2021
Reading Time: 3 mins read
Oswald Samsung Kidi has disclosed a major partnership with two international music distribution and entertainment companies Made in East New York (MadeinENY) and EMPIRE.

Ghanaian singer and entertainer, Kidi.

Ghanaian highlife musician, Dennis Nana Dwamena, popularly known as Kidi, has in a post registered his displeasure towards some Ghanaians and music lovers for the unwarranted backlash that they are reigning on some Ghanaian artists.

This follows a section of Ghanaians on social media trolling some musicians especially Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, and Stonebwoy after the Grammys last night. According to these social media users, they [Ghanaian musicians] are not producing standardized music to penetrate the World market like the Nigerian musicians and therefore are not making appearances on such huge stages much less of winning a global award.

The ‘Say Cheese’ hitmaker took to social media, specifically his Twitter page, to express how disappointed he is.  He further lamented and questioned why they can’t rejoice in someone’s happiness without condemning another.

As if Kidi’s tweet fell on deaf ears since other tweeps who sighted his tweet backlashed him the more. A few others who were on his side noted that he shouldn’t pay any attention to what they are saying. Some comments from his post read:
