Award-winning Ghanaian singer, Wendy Shay has made her first post on social media days after news of her near fatal accident.
The “Uber Driver” hitmaker shared a snippet of a new song she recorded right before the accident. The lyrics of the song encourage people to check up on their friends in times of need and to be there for each other while they’re still alive.
Although the title of the song was not given, “If I’m your friend, and you were my friend, where were you? When I was in need, when I was down, when I was broken, you never call me. No butter for my bread. If you no dey love me now, don’t love me when I’m gone”, the lyrics of the song read.
After the accident, netizens were pointing hands at her [Wendy Shay’s] manager, Bullet, for the strange happenings on the label, particularly after the death of his former signee, the late Ebony Reigns, adding that he is into occultism. Bullet debunked rumors that he is an occultist who sacrificed his acts at the peak of their career for unknown reasons. He further asserted that he is a Christian and would never join any spiritual cult to sacrifice his artists.
Fortunately, Wendy Shay was confirmed well and okay by health officials and responding to treatment. However, aside from her car damage, she suffered some injuries and a fractured nose.
She captioned the video saying the lyrics are making sense to her now.“I recorded this song on 7.09.2023 and had an accident on 10.09.2023. The lyrics in this song is making sense to me now…Some people will only love you when you are dead…I am Alive by the Grace of God”, Wendy Shay captioned the video.

According to him, the fact that some men have extramarital affairs does not mean that all men are the same and follow the same path. “And especially when you say every man cheats, you didn’t say it well. Some people say most men cheat but when you say every man cheats, then that’s wrong”, Joe Mettle said.
