Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has tendered a deep apology to his members for not holding his usual Sunday Service.
Yul Edochie, son of veteran actor, Pete Edochie, who hasn’t missed a live Sunday service since the emergence of his ministry, True Salvation Ministry took to his Instagram page and noted that the reason for the failure was due to some ‘unavoidable challenges’.
Appreciating them for their understanding, he promised to hold the next live broadcast as he admonished his members to remember to spread love.
“Greetings to all members of True Salvation Ministry worldwide. We sincerely apologize for not holding our live broadcast today. This was due to some unavoidable challenges. But they have been sorted out. Thank you for your understanding. See you all in our next live broadcast,” Yul Edochie wrote.
“To all our new members, you can still watch our previous live broadcasts on our YouTube channel, Yul Edochie TV. This week will be wonderful and prosperous for us all in Jesus’ name, Amen. Always remember that the most important teaching of God is LOVE. God bless us all,” he further added.
This is coming just days after he was seen in a viral video drinking beer with his wife, Judy Austin as they celebrated Valentine’s Day.
This didn’t sit well with many, who noted how he was a clergyman yet was publicly taking alcohol.
It is no longer news that Yul has finally accepted his calling and launched his own Ministry. Last month, Yul revealed that he was finally ready to accept the call of God as he announced the launch of his online Ministry, The Salvation Ministry, where he will be preaching the gospel.
Many thought he was just chasing clout until he held his first online service on Sunday, January 28, 2024, where he recounted how God called him.
It’s been less than two weeks since the actor launched his Ministry, yet he has started receiving testimonies.
A lady narrated how Yul healed her during his last ministerial service, revealing how she followed Yul’s sermon and received an instant miracle.
She stated that she was miraculously healed after his sermon and encouraged the actor to continue his service.
Reacting to it, Yul expressed how overjoyed he was to hear her testimony as he gave all Glory to God. He stated that he isn’t surprised because God told him He will do great things through him.
Yul Edochie’s Daughter Removes Surname From Social Media Account
Danielle Edochie, daughter of actor Yul Edochie, has removed her father’s surname from her Instagram account.
A check on her Instagram page on Monday, February 19 revealed that Edochie has been removed as her Instagram username and bio.
Danielle, formerly Danielle Yul Edochie, now bears Danielle Diana Dubem.
While it remains unclear why Danielle made the sudden decision, many have speculated that it is connected to her father’s actions on social media.
Yul unsettled the peace in his home in April 2022 when he announced he had married actress, Judy Austin Moghalu as his second wife and that they have a son together.
The drama heated up when the actor justified his marriage to Judy which led to backlash from fans, celebrities, and his brothers who distanced themselves from the actor and his second wife.
Yul’s first wife, May Edochie made it clear that she would not be enticed into accepting her husband’s choice of polygamy.
During the marriage crisis, Danielle warned her followers to stop tagging her in posts related to her father as she has no interest in pursuing a career in acting.
“Please I’m NOT an actress, I have no business with acting and Nollywood, no dey force career on me I beg. I don’t act and I’m not interested in acting. Acting is for him and not for me and I am a whole different person, I am my own identity. Please stop tagging me in posts related to him/Nollywood/films/actors. I am not interested in Nollywood. Know these and know peace,” she wrote.
Yul Edochie is the last child of veteran actor Pete Edochie.
