Alan Kyerematen Engages Traders At Kasoa Market, Calls For Support

The Founder and Leader of the Movement for Change, Alan Kwadwo John Kyerematen has extended his working visit to traders of Kasoa Market today, March 1, 2024, as part of his bid to connect with the business community in the Central Region.

Mr Kyerematen while speaking to the media after he visited the Kasoa Market, expressed deep concern over the deteriorating state of the market’s infrastructure and called for the need for the traders to support his transformational agenda.

According to the Independent Presidential Candidate, he intends to roll up several initiatives as part of his transformational agenda to revitalize the economic landscape of the Central Region.

“We are in Kasoa Market, and I could say out of my visitation that the market is not in good shape. It was not intentionally built as a world-standardized market. I saw firsthand the unacceptable level of degeneration in our market infrastructure and made a heartfelt call for them to support my Transformational Agenda which would specifically provide for them”

Touching on his proposed initiatives to revitalize the economic landscape in the Central Region, the former Minister of Trade and Industry under the New Patriotic Party administration disclosed that when elected as President of Ghana he will embark upon a comprehensive Market Infrastructure Program, which shall include the establishment of a befitting Retail Market for the people and traders in Kasoa.

He argued that the initiative aims to provide traders and shoppers with upgraded and world-standardized facilities that are conducive to a thriving business environment.

Establishment Of International Financial Services Centre In Central Region

Furthermore, the Founder and Leader of Movement for Change, Alan Kwadwo John Kyeremten revealed his plans to establish an International Financial Services Centre designed to catalyze rapid business transformation within the Central Region.

According to him, such an ambitious initiative would be part of a series of well-tailored programs, he intends to roll up to spur economic growth and development in the region when he assumes office in 2025 as the President of Ghana.

“We must also ensure that the central region as a region gets something that would lift the region. That is why I am talking about the International Financial Services Centre, It can be done and I shall do it when elected as the President of Ghana come December 7, 2024”

Moreover, Honorable Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, the Independent Presidential Candidate for the 2024 general elections commended the hardworking traders and shop owners in the Kasoa Market, stressing the integral role they play in the local economy.

Mr Kyerematen further indicated that his visit to the Kasoa Market has offered him a crucial source of information for him and his team to craft policies and initiatives that directly address the specific needs of the people in Kasoa and the Central Region.

He emphasized his commitment and dedication to utilizing the insightful information gained during the market tour in Kasoa to spearhead his much-touted transformational change agenda for Ghana when elected as the President in the 2024 general elections.

Traders in Kasoa Market

The Movement for Change Founder and Leader is expected to tour other market centres in the Central Region including those in Winneba, Swedru, Mankessim, Cape Coast, and Elmina to sum up his market tour in the region.

Before his Central regional market tour, Mr Kyerematen visited the Kejetia, Asafo, Tema, Ashaiman, Makola, Kokompe, Okaishie, Kaneshie, and Madina market centers in the Ashanti, and Greater Accra Region respectively.
