Srem-Sai Defends Mahama, Criticizes Bawumia’s Accountability

Mahama urged to balance youth accountability and justice

President John Dramani Mahama

Dr. Justice Srem-Sai, a respected legal expert and NDC sympathizer, has strongly defended the integrity of the NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.

He pointed out that Mahama’s character and integrity were put to the test by none other than President Nana Akufo-Addo, highlighting that it was Nana Addo who personally initiated a complaint against Mahama at the Office of the Special Prosecutor.

Despite the serious corruption allegations, he emphasized that John Mahama emerged from the situation unscathed, maintaining his integrity and proving his innocence.

This, Srem-Sai stated, underscores Mahama’s unwavering commitment to transparency and accountability.

“Dr. Bawumia, on the other hand, is, amidst all these interesting allegations, yet to have his integrity tested by a formal investigative process. He’s enjoying immunity and evading accountability.

“Secondly, JM has had his own appointee prosecuted and jailed, and others sacked on allegations of corruption or mere moral wrongdoing”.

Srem-Sai further pointed out that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, despite serving as Vice President for the past eight years, has shown no evidence of holding anyone accountable within his government.

He emphasized that, regardless of the severity of the allegations against individuals in Bawumia’s circle, no action has been taken to discipline them.

According to Srem-Sai, this lack of accountability reflects poorly on Bawumia’s leadership and raises questions about his commitment to integrity and transparency in governance.

Accordingly, he asserted that when it comes to personal integrity and the determination to combat corruption, the evidence overwhelmingly supports the fact that John Mahama outshines his counterparts.

Srem-Sai emphasized that Mahama has consistently demonstrated a stronger commitment to transparency, accountability, and ethical leadership throughout his political career.

According to the NDC sympathizer, these set the former President apart in terms of both character and action in the fight against corruption.

Mahama Criticizes Current Administration’s Integrity

Meanwhile, John Dramani Mahama, the NDC flagbearer, strongly criticized the current administration, accusing it of a lack of economic integrity, mismanagement, and a series of governance failures.

He argued that these issues have contributed to the nation’s economic decline and have undermined public trust in government institutions.

Mahama emphasized that, unlike the current leadership, he is deeply committed to addressing Ghana’s most pressing challenges.

He outlined his determination to restore economic stability, improve governance, and implement policies aimed at ensuring long-term prosperity and social justice for all Ghanaians.

“If we go to war, and we encounter difficulties, we go back to call the retired general to come back and lead us.

“This is a clear illustration of myself because I am a retired general and I went to rest, but it is time to come back for we are in a difficult period, so my party has nominated me to lead the party.”

John Dramani Mahama

The former President, John Dramani Mahama, assured Ghanaians of his readiness to provide strong and effective leadership that will guide the nation toward a path of recovery and progress.

He expressed his commitment to implementing sound and pragmatic policies focused on restoring economic stability, creating jobs, and improving the overall living conditions of Ghanaians.

Mahama emphasized that under his leadership, no citizen would be left behind, including those from marginalized communities.

He pledged to ensure that the needs of all Ghanaians are addressed, striving for a more inclusive and equitable society where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

The NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, also called on the religious leaders to lend their support to his vision for a better Ghana.

He emphasized that his extensive experience, coupled with his unwavering resolve, uniquely positions him as the most qualified candidate to address the country’s pressing challenges.

Mahama highlighted his track record of leadership and his deep understanding of the nation’s needs, asserting that with the support of Ghanaians, he can successfully steer the country toward lasting prosperity and unity.
