US Named Complicit In Israeli ‘Massacre’

Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi has accused the U.S of being complicit in the “massacre” in Gaza.

Speaking at a joint news conference in Tehran with visiting Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, Raisi said, “The aid from the United States to the Zionist regime [Israel] is encouraging them to kill and commit cruel acts of neglect against the Palestinian people.”

Raisi said that Iran supported any form of cooperation that would limit civilian casualties inside the besieged enclave.

Raisi acknowledged that Iraq and Iran were aligned in their positions and both believed in the necessity for an “immediate ceasefire”.

“We believe that the bombings must stop as soon as possible, that a ceasefire must be declared immediately and that aid be provided to the oppressed and proud people of Gaza.

“These horrible crimes against humanity are a genocide, which is carried out by the Zionist regime [Israel] with the support of the United States and certain European countries.”

Speaking after the Iranian President, Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani urged countries to put pressure on Israel to stop attacking civilians to avoid a broader conflict.

“Those who don’t want the expansion of this war must put pressure on Israel to stop this organised massacre,” al-Sudani said.

He added that the ongoing war was not just the result of the October 7 attack, but also years of forced displacement of Palestinians and the “desecration” of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Al-Sudani accused the global community of having done little to implement international resolutions.

He said, “I would like to clearly state that the international community and institutions have failed to fulfill their duties and obligations” concerning Palestine.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, posted on social media saying, “The Muslim world must increase political pressure on the U.S and the Zionist regime to end the massacre of people in Gaza.”

As an important country in the region, Iraq can play a major role in putting political pressure on the US and the occupying regime to stop the massacre of people in Gaza and also in starting a new approach in the Arab and Muslim world.

The US is the Zionist’s accomplice in the crimes against Gaza. If their weapon supplies and political support stops, the Zionist regime will be incapable of continuing.

The longer the current war goes on, the evidence showing the direct role of the US in directing the crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza becomes more pronounced.

Urgent Medical Supplies Airdropped To Gaza

Also on Monday, Jordan and Israel announced the airdrop of urgent medical supplies to a field hospital in the Gaza Strip.

Jordan’s King Abdullah II said early on Monday that the Jordanian air force had dropped “urgent medical aid” to the field hospital operated by the kingdom in the enclave since 2009.

“Our fearless air force personnel air-dropped at midnight urgent medical aid to the Jordanian field hospital in Gaza,” he said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“This is our duty to aid our brothers and sisters injured in the war on Gaza. “We will always be there for our Palestinian brethren.”

Israel’s military said in a statement later on Monday that it had “coordinated” with its Arab neighbour on the drop, which it said also included food.

“The equipment will be used by the medical staff for patients,” it said.

Like other Arab countries, Jordan has condemned Israel’s bombardment of Gaza.

Last week, Amman recalled its ambassador to Israel after accusing the country of creating an “unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe”.
