“Mzvee is one of our most valuable assets” he wrote on Twitter.

Sarkodie’s post comes a few days after MzVee released her latest album titled ‘InVeencible’.

Undoubtedly, MzVee has done her best following her emergence on the Ghanaian music scene. Despite the field being a male-dominated one, she has put in efforts to remain relevant.

The  Ghanaian artist who sings in the genre of  Afropop, dancehall and R&B had her debut solo album bursting with several hit songs including ‘Borkor Borkor’, ‘Natural Girl’ and ‘Dancehall Queen’.

MzVee was signed to the record label Lynx Entertainment and subsequently emerged the winner of the New Artiste of the Year award at the 2015 Ghana Music Awards but in the year 2019, she somehow parted ways with Lynx Entertainment.

The artist took a two year break from the Music Industry from and in an interview with an Accra based television station in the early part of this year, she revealed that her reason for retreating from the music industry was because of a massive depression she was faced with.

This dismissed pregnancy rumors that some people were insinuating as the reason for her absence from the Music Industry.

Throughout the two year period, MzVee said she found help from her friend Efya who kept supporting and encouraging her until she overcame the depressive state she was in.

She then announced that as of 2020, she is back to music and has released an energetic number titled, ‘Sheriff’.

One other thing MzVee said when she returned from her depression-induced hiatus was that she will be releasing two albums.

However, she could not release the two albums as she promised due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

She rather managed to release one album dubbed ‘InVeencible’. The album which featured A-list artists such as Sarkodie, Mugeez, Efya, Medikal, Kelvyn Boy, Kojo Funds, as well as Falz and Navy Kenzoo, was released on December 11, 2020.

After a very long break from the music scene which really affected her music career, MzVee has done very well in her comeback mission so far, shooting videos and ticking the right boxes.

That aside, although many shows have had to be cancelled because of the Coronavirus pandemic, rapper Sarkodie has promised to help fans end the year with a big bang.

Sarkodie will be hosting his annual ‘Rapperholic Concert’ on December 25, 2020.

In a promo for the show, the ‘Happy Day’ hit maker said he had wanted to cancel the 2020 edition of the show because of the effect of the pandemic on lives.

However, he revealed that his team had convinced him to organize the show with all the Covid-19 safety protocols in place.
