Shatta Wale has, in another rant, addressed his mother’s recent outbursts about his refusal to cater to her needs as he has asked those criticizing him to make sure they know the nitty-gritty of the story before chiding him.
A very angry Shatta Wale in the video, warned people, especially radio presenters and bloggers, to stay out of his family affairs. He claimed that he would wish death on anyone who has decided to take sides in the matter, and further declared that his mother deserves everything happening to her.
“Go and ask my mother about the things she has done to me. You get time to come talk about my mother. When you don’t give your mother money, does she go around telling people that Kweku, doesn’t give me money? You people are very (sic). You just heard something, and then you will talk about why Shatta is doing that.
“People who know knows, and people who understand understands. If you want information about my mother, go to my brother in Nima. Go and ask his mother who my mother is and what I have told him about my mother. Things I have said to him about my mother”.

Shatta Wale also heavily descended on industry players who have backlashed him. He called them out for believing “lies” from his mother. He noted that the numerous interviews from Shatta Mama were designed to disgrace him and make him unpopular to Ghanaians.
“Foolish radio presenters and foolish people in that foolish industry you call the music industry. You people are always talking nonsense. You take someone’s mother, and she’s saying she has nothing. So, she’s moving from one place to the other. Why don’t you ask her how she bathes and where she sleeps before coming to you?
“All of you are fools for putting my mother on the radio to disgrace me. Let me tell you something, when you don’t understand something, don’t bring it. You put my mother on radio and TV, interviewing her so that she says she has nowhere to sleep, and you people believe those lies”.

In a series of radio interviews, Shatta Mama bemoaned her situation as she called on Ghanaians to help her. According to Mama Shatta, his son has refused to give her upkeep money for some months now and she’s in a dire financial situation.
Several comments on her interview vilified Shatta Wale for neglecting his mother while touring abroad in a private jet and flashing lots of money.
Well, it seems Shatta Wale has the support of controversial Ghanaian marriage and relationship expert, Counsellor Lutterodt. Counsellor Lutterodt chided Shatta Wale’s mum for running to the media to “disgrace her son” over her rent issues.
Speaking in an interview, the highly opinionated Counsellor argued that it’s not compulsory for any child to take care of their parents. According to him, it’s basic decency for a child to take of their old parents but it shouldn’t be seen as an obligation.
These sentiments from Counsellor Lutterodt received contrasting views from social media users. A handful of social media users threw their weight behind Counsellor Lutterodt while the majority averred that what Counsellor Lutterodt said was “rubbish”.
