Ghanaian gospel collective Team Eternity Ghana has officially released its highly anticipated album The Promise, marking another major milestone in the group’s rapidly rising career. The 10-track project, which dropped on October 2, 2026, is now available on all major streaming platforms and continues the group’s mission of drawing people to Christ through heartfelt, Spirit-filled music.
The album centres on a simple yet profound message: God remains faithful to His word. Across its tracks, Team Eternity explores themes of faith, hope, restoration, worship and the confidence that comes from knowing God is present with His people even in seasons of waiting and uncertainty.
Songs such as “Agya’s Prayer,” “Faithful,” “Living Streams,” “Your Love,” “Awesome God,” “Sanctuary,” “Mensuro,” “Attributes,” “Esther Smith Tribute I” and the title track “The Promise” combine contemporary gospel sounds with African rhythms and powerful live energy.
Much of the material was captured during the group’s TEG Live 3.0 concert the previous year. The live recording session produced so many strong songs that the collective decided to release the project in phases. Phase 1 is now out, following the earlier release of singles including “Your Love” and “My Sanctuary” (also referred to as “Sanctuary”), which helped build anticipation among fans who had been requesting the full album for months.
Team Eternity Ghana, founded in 2013 under the leadership of Isaac Nii Larte Lartey, describes itself as a Christian music family and youth-driven ministry rather than a traditional choir. Members come from different church backgrounds but share a common vision of spreading the message of eternity through music, word and art.
The collective includes vocalists, instrumentalists, writers, composers and creatives, supported by a wider network of professionals who contribute behind the scenes.
The group’s breakthrough came with the 2024 album Testimony. That 14-track project delivered the massive hit “Defe Defe,” which topped Ghana’s Apple Music charts for weeks and amassed millions of streams and views. Other standout tracks such as “Yes Sir,” “Brass Band Medley,” “Testimony” and “Ghana Chant” helped establish Team Eternity as one of the most visible contemporary gospel acts in the country. All 14 songs from Testimony charted simultaneously—an unusual achievement that underlined the depth of the project and the group’s growing mainstream appeal.
The Promise builds on that foundation while returning to a more intimate, worship-focused tone. Tracks like “Faithful,” led by powerful vocalist Joy Somie in some performances, declare God’s unwavering reliability. “Esther Smith Tribute I” pays homage to Ghanaian gospel heritage, while songs such as “Living Streams” and “Agya’s Prayer” invite listeners into personal and corporate moments of prayer and praise. The overall sound blends traditional West African choral elements with modern production, creating an atmosphere suited both for personal devotion and large worship gatherings.
In statements surrounding the release, the group has emphasised that their music is driven by grace rather than pressure. They continue to prioritise ministry impact over industry accolades, even as their songs find audiences beyond Ghana’s borders.
Previous international appearances, including a ministration in South Africa, and campus tours that have reached tens of thousands of students demonstrate their commitment to youth evangelism and discipleship.

The album arrives at a time when Ghanaian gospel music continues to command significant attention both locally and across the African continent. Collectives like Team Eternity have helped expand the sonic possibilities of the genre, incorporating contemporary rhythms without diluting the core Christian message.
Public Reaction

Listeners can stream The Promise on platforms including Spotify, Apple Music and others via the link shared by the group. Promotional posts from accounts such as Amplify Ghana have helped amplify the news, featuring striking artwork that captures the album’s themes of hope and divine faithfulness.

For Team Eternity Ghana, the release is more than a commercial milestone. It is another opportunity to remind audiences that God keeps His promises.
As the group continues its journey balancing live ministry events, campus outreach and new recordings-The Promise stands as a timely offering. It invites a new generation of listeners to experience the assurance that has sustained Team Eternity since its formation more than a decade ago: that the God who made the promise is faithful to fulfil it.
The full Phase 1 album is available now. Fans are encouraged to stream, share and allow the songs to minister in personal quiet times as well as corporate worship settings. With its clear spiritual direction and polished delivery, The Promise is poised to become another significant chapter in Team Eternity Ghana’s growing catalogue of impactful gospel music.
