He stated that Ghanaians are being unfair to him because he gave his all to the Black Stars.

The Tamale North MP emphasized that Dede Ayew has dedicated himself to the Black Stars and ought to be treated fairly.

“Tell me which Black Stars player has sacrificed himself for the team more than Dede. I am not just defending Dede, I will defend anyone at any time, I defended Asamoah Gyan.”

Mr Murtala equally expressed his disappointment in the decision of the Black Stars coach, Otto Addo, to resign his position after the team exited.
