May Edochie, the estranged wife of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, has sent a message to her husband’s late colleague, Junior Pope’s wife, Jennifer.
Taking to her Instagram page, she noted how today would have marked the 10th wedding anniversary of the couple.
According to her, today would have been a celebration, a splash of dope images, and many things to mark the decade.
Urging Jennifer to stay strong, she assured her that the Lord God would take charge of her and always be there for her.
“It would have been a 10th anniversary today! It would have been celebrations today! It would have been a splash of dope images today! It would have been a lot of things to mark a decade! Stay strong, my dear @qutejay. The Lord God takes charge of His own, and He will always be there for you all. Hang in there.”

Junior Pope lost his life after drowning at Anam River in Anambra State while returning from a movie set on April 10, 2024.
The actor was laid to rest amidst tears in his hometown in Ukehe, Enugu State, in May, with the likes of Destiny Etiko, KCee, E-Money, Zubby Michael, Benson Okonkwo, Chinwe Owoh, Rita Edochie, Uche Nnanna, Queen Wokoma, Ruby Ojiakor and more in attendance.
Since his death, May has been showing support to his widow wife. Recall that following the burial of the late actor in May; May Edochie shared photos of her condolence visit to his widow as she sent encouraging words to her and expressed hope that someday, Jennifer would have reasons to smile again.
On his posthumous birthday in May, May Edochie shared his last messages as she penned an emotional note to his wife.
She noted how posthumous birthdays could refresh all the sad memories. However, she admonished her to see it as his heavenly birthday. She went on to describe his death as unbearable as she threw several questions at him.
Mr. Obasi Tags Along With May’s Lawyer to Battle Judy, Yul in Court
In a stunning turn of events, Emmanuel Obasi, the ex-husband of Nollywood star Judy Austin threw a twist into the narrative by teaming up with the tenacious relationship lawyer, Emeka Ugwuonye, who is already deep in the trenches of May Edochie’s bitter divorce battle with Yul Edochie.
The dramatic twist follows Obasi’s heart-wrenching accusations that Judy Austin has cruelly banned him from seeing his children for an afflicting period.
Obasi accused Judy and Yul of engaging in scandalous extramarital affairs while she was still legally bound to him and Yul was married to May Edochie.
The new video sighted on May Edochie’s lawyer’s DPA organization Instagram page, captures the charged moment when Obasi and Ugwuonye, both burdened with the weight of their respective battles, met in a gripping handshake.
In this crucial encounter, Ugwuonye pledged to take the helm of Obasi’s case with fierce determination.
“MR. EMMANUEL OBASI MET WITH DPA LAWYERS YESTERDAY, It was quite a successful meeting. We got to understand his case much better. We repeatedly offered him tea, coffee, and food. But he declined.
“He said that meeting up was so filling that he felt like he ate a big bowl of jollof rice, moi-moi, and a whole chicken. We could see visibly how happy and comforted he felt.”

The lawyer also highlighted the disdain with which Yul and Judy have treated Obasi, how they dismissed him as inconsequential and believed he had no influential advocate.
“We were all confident that he would have justice. After all, he is not asking for too much. He just wants to see his biological children. He felt that Judy and Yul denied him that basic opportunity just because they felt he was a nobody and had no one to speak for him.”
