Efia Odo Details Why She Left Her Job at Kwese TV

Popular Ghanaian socialite and actress, Efia Odo has explained the reasons behind her departure from her role as a talk show host at Kwese TV, a job she took on in 2018.

She shared that she left the position to focus on an ambassadorial deal with South African Wines, a deal which eventually went sour. Efia Odo shared these details while discussing her recent fallout with Eats Avenue, a restaurant she claimed she co-owned.

The socialite explained that she left Kwese TV to fully commit to the wine ambassadorial role. She said her dedication to her new position showed how serious she was about her professional commitments.

Efia Odo provided background on her involvement with Eats Avenue. She explained that she became friends with Kwabena Sarpong and later partnered with him to open the restaurant.

The actress also opened up about her evolving perspective on life, revealing her desire to settle down and start a family.

Known for her bold opinions and unapologetic lifestyle, Efia Odo candidly discussed how she feels that time is catching up with her, and she’s now looking toward a future that includes marriage and children.

“I’m getting older, and I want to settle down, have kids. What do I do in this situation? Do I remove myself from the business and my business partner and focus on my future?”

In the video circulating on social media, Efia Odo has her right arm wrapped around Shatta Wale’s neck as she takes a selfie with him on her iPhone.

The ‘SAFA’ album hitmaker noted that he was a guest on the controversial podcast as he urged fans to watch out for the episode.

In the caption of the social media post, the former Eats Avenue co-owner noted that their friendship was for life. She added a heart emoji to express her love for him. “4life 💗,” Efia Odo captioned the video on her X account.

While on set, Shatta Wale gifted the hosts Efia Odo and social media influencers Gisela Amponsah and Princess Ama Burland of the controversial podcast GH¢5 bundles, which he grabbed from a brown leather bag.

The ladies squeaked with joy as they took out their iPhones to record the memorable moment and share it on their social media platforms.

The dancehall musician, who is known for his generosity towards fans and his friends, earned praise from many online users who viewed the video on social media. Meanwhile, Shatta Wale has released his much-anticipated ‘SAFA’ album, which is already making waves.

Many people in the comment section wondered why Shatta Wale always flaunted GH¢5 money bundles as they challenged him to flaunt higher currencies. His fans, known as SM4LYF, thronged to the comment section after watching the video to brag about how generous their leader was.
