In a shocking revelation, Canadian rapper Drake has suffered a staggering loss of over $100 million to gambling in just one month.

The renowned artist, known for his chart-topping hits like “One Dance,” recently took to Instagram to share a screenshot of his substantial losses on the betting platform, Stake.

The screenshot, posted via Instagram story, reveals that Drake incurred a whopping $124,527,265 in losses within the last month.

The rapper, known for his transparency, shared his disappointment with his losses.

“Gotta share the other side of gambling…Losses are so fried right now. I hope I can post a big win for you all soon, cause I’m the only one that has never maxed these guys max once a week.”

This statement not only showcases his candor but also his determination to bounce back from his recent string of losses.

This is not the first time the Canadian rapper has faced significant losses due to gambling. In August 2024, he lost a substantial $450,000 bet after Israel Adesanya’s defeat to Dricus du Plessis for the UFC middleweight belt.

Furthermore, in November 2024, he incurred another loss of $355,000 when Mike Tyson was defeated by Jake Paul in a heavyweight match at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. These high-stakes losses demonstrate the risks associated with gambling, even for someone as successful as Drake.

Despite his recent losses, he remains one of the most successful rappers in the industry, with a massive following and a reputation for his captivating music.

His willingness to share his experiences, both successes and failures, has endeared him to his fans and has sparked conversations about the realities of gambling.

As the rapper looks to bounce back from his losses, his fans will undoubtedly be watching, hoping for a big win from the rapper soon.

With his determination and resilience, he will likely emerge from this challenging period, perhaps with a new perspective on his gambling habits.

Lil Wayne’s Son Claims Father Wrote Most of Drake’s Lyrics

In a recent livestream that has sent ripples through the hip-hop community, Lil Wayne’s son, Lil Novi, dropped a bombshell claim, asserting that his father wrote “most” of Drake’s lyrics.

This revelation has reignited discussions about authorship and originality in the rap world, a topic that has long been a subject of scrutiny.

For years, Wayne has been credited as the catalyst for the artist’s illustrious career, but now, his son argued that the accolades should extend further to creative contributions.

“My dad wrote most of Drake’s sh*t,” Novi declared confidently when posed with the prompt to choose between his father and the Canadian rap superstar. “If it wasn’t for my pops, there wouldn’t be any Drake.”

These provocative comments quickly gained traction online, leading fans and experts alike to debate their validity.

Some recall the ghostwriting controversy that broke open in 2015, when Meek Mill accused Drake of using ghostwriter Quentin Miller on parts of his acclaimed mixtape, “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late”.

Novi seemed to push this narrative further, insisting that Wayne had a fundamental influence on the rapper’s seminal albums, including “Take Care” and “Views”.

However, scepticism surrounds his claim, particularly given that Novi was born after the launch of Drake’s breakthrough mixtape, “So Far Gone”, in 2009.

The age difference has raised doubts about whether the young artist fully understands the historical context or is merely seeking attention in the public sphere.

The disturbance surrounding Novi’s comments raises questions yet again about the authenticity of hip hop – a genre that thrives on its artists’ voices.

Though Drake and Wayne have enjoyed a remarkably close working dynamic over the past decade, these latest claims have prompted renewed discussions about the blurring lines of authorship.

So far, neither Drake nor Wayne has publicly addressed the situation, leaving fans anticipating a response.

Drake has consistently pushed back against allegations of using ghostwriters, labelling them as a “narrative” while asserting that he collaborates with others to enhance his creative process, not to replace it.

Responses on social media have ranged widely, with some users supporting Novi’s assertions, while others have expressed outright disbelief. One user noted, “I kinda believe this because you can tell when you listen to his music that his writers changed at some point.”

Conversely, critics have taken issue with Novi’s youth and expressed scepticism about his claims, arguing, “I don’t believe a 15-year-old who is now saying that his dad wrote most of Drake’s stuff.”
