The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has officially announced its support for BHIM Music Group Limited in hosting the highly anticipated BHIM Festival, now scheduled for December 24, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The concert, one of the headline events for this year’s “December in GH” celebrations, will bring together top Ghanaian and international artistes for a vibrant showcase of music, culture, and unity.

The GTA revealed that the Accra Sports Stadium has been secured as the official venue, with BHIM Music Group overseeing the event’s full setup on December 23 ahead of the main performance night.

According to Maame Efua Houadjeto, Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority, the collaboration forms part of the Authority’s broader mission to promote Ghana’s creative arts and entertainment sectors as key drivers of tourism growth.

The GTA emphasised that events like the BHIM Festival play a central role in positioning Ghana as Africa’s leading destination for festive and cultural experiences.

The Authority reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with stakeholders across the creative and tourism industries to deliver unforgettable experiences under the December in GH brand, which continues to draw thousands of visitors each year.

The BHIM Festival, founded by celebrated reggae and dancehall star Stonebwoy, has grown into one of Ghana’s most anticipated music events, celebrating African creativity, unity, and global appeal.

The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) has announced that music star Stonebwoy will headline the 50th SWAG Awards on November 15, 2025, at the Accra International Conference Centre. The event will merge sporting excellence with vibrant entertainment as SWAG celebrates fifty years of honoring Ghana’s top athletes.

The Golden Jubilee edition promises an exciting mix of sports recognition and live music. Stonebwoy’s performance adds cultural flair and highlights the ceremony’s prestige. His appearance also reinforces SWAG’s commitment to blending sports, art, and national pride.

Known for his energetic blend of Afro-dancehall, reggae, and Afropop, Stonebwoy represents the passion and resilience that define Ghana’s sporting spirit. His live performance will deliver unmatched energy, featuring dynamic choreography and powerful vocals that reflect the excitement of the nation’s champions.

The SWAG Golden Jubilee Awards celebrate Ghana’s rich sporting legacy. This milestone event will honour current achievers and legendary figures who shaped the country’s sports history. It will also inspire a new generation of athletes to strive for greatness.

Notable nominees include football legends Abedi Pele and Azumah Nelson, and current stars Mohammed Kudus, Antoine Semenyo, and Jordan Ayew. Other nominees are Kwesi Appiah, Benjamin Asare, Razak Simpson, Stephen Amankona, Desmond Pappoe, Mathias Ashitey, George Dowuona, Grace Asantewaa, and Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah.

The SWAG Club of the Year 2025 category features a strong lineup. Police Ladies (Women’s League and Super Cup Champions), Faith Ladies (FA Cup Champions), Kotoko SC (FA Cup and Champion of Champions winners), and Bibiani Gold Stars (League Champions) will all compete for the honor.
