Hollard Ghana Bags Top Broker Awards

Hollard Ghana has reaffirmed its growing influence in Ghana’s insurance industry after securing top honours at the 11th Annual Conference and Exhibition of the Insurance Brokers Association of Ghana.

The event, held at Rock City Hotel in Nkwatia, Kwahu, brought together key stakeholders across the insurance value chain to discuss pressing issues and celebrate excellence within the sector.

The recognition underscores Hollard Ghana’s commitment to strengthening broker partnerships and delivering customer-focused solutions. As one of the most prominent gatherings in the industry calendar, the IBAG Conference continues to serve as a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and recognition of outstanding performance.

Dual Awards Reflect Strong Broker Relationships

At the ceremony, Hollard’s subsidiaries earned notable accolades for their broker-centric approach. Hollard Insurance Ghana was named 1st Runner-Up for Most Broker-Friendly and Supportive Non-Life Insurer for 2025. Meanwhile, Hollard Life Assurance Ghana secured 2nd Runner-Up for Most Broker-Friendly and Supportive Life Insurer for 2025.

The recognition also signals the trust and confidence that brokers have placed in Hollard Ghana’s operations and service delivery.

Leadership Speaks on Milestone Achievement

Reacting to the achievement, Patience Akyianu, Group CEO of Hollard Ghana, emphasized the importance of brokers within the company’s ecosystem.

“We are honoured to be recognised by the broker community, who remain a vital part of our distribution network.

“These awards affirm our commitment to being a dependable partner. As a purpose-driven organisation, we exist to enable more people to create and secure a better future, and we will continue to invest in solutions and relationships that create shared value for brokers and customers alike.”

Her remarks reflect Hollard’s broader strategy of embedding purpose into its operations while prioritizing relationships that drive sustainable growth. She also extended congratulations to key members of the team, including Maame Efua Sackitey Williams, Roswitha Adjoa Amoako, and the entire Broker and Group Business unit for their dedication.

Commitment to Brokers Remains Central

Daniel Boi Addo, Managing Director of Hollard Insurance, also reinforced the company’s broker-first philosophy. He highlighted the crucial role brokers play in the insurance ecosystem and the need for insurers to provide them with adequate support.

“At Hollard, we say ‘Long Live the Broker’ because we understand that brokers are the backbone of the industry.

“That’s why we focus on equipping our partners with the support and responsiveness they need to succeed in a rapidly changing environment. This award reinforces our commitment to showing up in practical and meaningful ways.”
