Taptap Send, a multinational corporation with decades of experience in over 30 countries has begun its operations in Ghana with the goal of giving Ghanaians a simpler and cheaper alternative of transferring cash.

This mode of making transactions appears more attractive and economical as it attracts no charges on all transactions, making it the cheapest means of sending money in Ghana.

“What is very interesting for Taptap is that, it is one of the few companies on the market that actually has no fees for money transfers so it is actually very useful for our customers and very beneficial for our customers.

“So its our secret sales; how we make our business. The secret sales is actually very simple. We do our business in the smart way, which basically means that we are not wasting money on very expensive marketing. We are really making sure that we have very smart people on board that help us to achieve a good pricing so that’s also very important for us.”

Kupczak

One of the most important things for Taptap is that the company in itself has been created basically by immigration communities, Kupczak said, adding that about 95% of his colleagues, not excluding himself, are immigrants and were not born in the country in which they live.

This, he said helps his team understand the struggle and navigate the product in a way that is simple and less expensive for their customers and users.

Taptap has a formidable team to deliver services with excellence

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) of E-Services Africa Limited and Local Partner of Taptap Send, Emmanuel Annor Wereko said they have a formidable team of experts to deliver excellent services for Ghanaians.

“We have very dedicated and very highly trained professionals here, who guide them through the usage of the app. You’d realize that this Taptap Send App is actually one-way, which means that we in this part of the World receive. So people who actually have the app are outside the jurisdiction; so Asia, America, the European Union and the UK.

“So when they have any issues with the app, they want to find out how much they will be deducted or charged for sending monies and stuff like that. They reach out to us and we deliver. People are in love with the app. Just like the name sounds, Taptap Send is very easy to use it for most people because it is a couple of clicks away and then you are able to send money to your love ones and relatives.”

Annor Wereko

The App, Mr. Annor Wereko, noted is available on Google PlayStore and Apple Store.

“By just a click of a button, you get the app and it is an easy set up as well…We have 29. So we started with 14 and have added 15 more and it looks like by the end of the year, we should be hitting a 100.”
