The controversial Counselor Charlotte Oduro has urged that if her husband should impregnate another lady, he will be the one in charge of taking care of the child and not her.
According to her, if her husband even brings a child he has with another woman home, she will not have the time to take care of that child since it’s a woman who gave birth to that child.
She said:
“I have three children. They are very dangerous, and I don’t even have much time for them. He can bring that child and I don’t have a problem with that because the house in which we live is for both of us. I even have people’s children who live in my house but I don’t have the time to breastfeed someone’s child.
“Everyone is welcome to my home. The door is opened so whatever you meet on your arrival, you stick to it like that”.

Also, the Counselor revealed why polygamy shouldn’t be entertained in a Christian home.
She explained that the most naturally painful thing in marriage as a woman is when your fellow woman is brought into the marriage as a replacement, adding that Christian doctrines are different from Muslim doctrines.
Expressing the most annoying part, she said some men feed the second wife false pieces of information about the first wife and when it happens that way, the second wife feels she is in a competition with the first wife and this brings violence at home.
She said:
“The most annoying part about polygamy is when the second wife feels entitled and disrespectful towards the first wife”.

It can be recalled that the Counselor issued a stern warning to the believers in polygamous marriage not to extend their teachings to Christians because it is unbiblical and not supported by God.
She made these submissions in relation to a viral sermon by Bishop Dag Heward Mills, the General Overseer of Lighthouse Chapel, purportedly endorsing polygamy.
Counselor Charlotte Oduro Asks Society To Stop Asking Married Women When They’ll Give Birth
Controversial marriage Counselor Charlotte Oduro cautioned society to desist from asking women when they will give birth.
In Ghanaian society, people have the tendency to ask married women when they will give birth. It is believed that it puts unnecessary pressure on married women who have no control over when they will give birth.
Speaking on this issue, Counselor Charlotte Oduro indicated that it is high time people desist from such acts.
To her, no one has the right to question any woman when she intends to give birth.
She asserted:
“Don’t ask married women when they will give birth. Don’t intimidate them with your children. The fact that a woman does not have children does not mean she is useless. She has other things to impact society, and that should be the focus”.

She used the opportunity to call on husbands to stand by their wives during these trying times, saying:
“When women marry for one or two years and the children are not coming, the pressure starts to mount, so if they do not have a husband who is mature and will stand by her in all things, there will be a problem and they will be depressed. They will go to every length and that does not help”.
