Taptap Send, a multinational corporation with decades of experience in over 30 countries has begun its operations in Ghana with the goal of giving Ghanaians a simpler and cheaper alternative of transferring cash.
This mode of making transactions appears more attractive and economical as it attracts no charges on all transactions, making it the cheapest means of sending money in Ghana.
Speaking at the launch of the Taptap Send Call Centre in Accra, Marcin Kupczak, Global Director, Customer Service of Taptap Send said using their app to transfer cash is convenient, safe and fast.
“What is very interesting for Taptap is that, it is one of the few companies on the market that actually has no fees for money transfers so it is actually very useful for our customers and very beneficial for our customers.
“So its our secret sales; how we make our business. The secret sales is actually very simple. We do our business in the smart way, which basically means that we are not wasting money on very expensive marketing. We are really making sure that we have very smart people on board that help us to achieve a good pricing so that’s also very important for us.”
Kupczak
One of the most important things for Taptap is that the company in itself has been created basically by immigration communities, Kupczak said, adding that about 95% of his colleagues, not excluding himself, are immigrants and were not born in the country in which they live.
This, he said helps his team understand the struggle and navigate the product in a way that is simple and less expensive for their customers and users.
