Vodafone Ghana in partnership with MicroEnsure, a global provider of micro, nano and digital insurance products, has launched an all-inclusive mobile insurance product known as SafeNet for customers.

According to the telecommunication giant, the product has been designed to offer customers numerous insurance benefits including hospital cash compensations, accidental injuries and disability cover as well as life insurance.

As part of their commitment to also ease the economic impact of the pandemic on customers, Vodafone Ghana through SafeNet deem it necessary to offer free insurance product to subscribed customers for the next six months.

With this, customers can access more insurance plans to secure themselves and their families in order to enjoy higher claims at very competitive premiums.

“Mobile insurance is one of the many products aimed at cushioning our customers in these COVID-19 times. SafeNet allows customers to pay certain premiums in order to enjoy insurance cover monthly. We developed this to enable our customers to bounce back swiftly should the unexpected happen”.

On her part, Leona Abban, the Country Manager of MicroEnsure Ghana expressed her excitement over the collaboration of the two companies, with fervent hope for a fruitful initiative.

In the spirit of partnership, Vodafone Ghana and Africa’s fastest-growing video-on-demand and TV platform, Wi-flix have collaborated to launch entertainment offers for their customers.

Commenting on the partnership, Pushpinder Gujral, explained the partnership is in conformity with their commitment to providing value for customers.

“We’re excited to begin this new relationship with Wi-flix to provide our customers with a seamless entertainment experience and easy access to a variety of movie content.

“This is in line with our commitment to continuously deliver additional value to enrich the lives of our customers.’’

Also, the Co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Wi-flix, Louis Manu, intimated that their “ambition is to make premium content available to every Ghanaian at the most affordable price”.

“Wi-flix offers the largest collection of African and foreign movies, TV shows and Live TV tailor made for the Ghanaian market”.
