“It is a dream come true, a new dawn and a historic moment as the continent is new to this gathering to celebrate financial traders.”

Alice Flora Tiny

Alice Flora Tiny hoped the successful launch of AFTA serves as the beginning of great impact and encouragement for upcoming and enthusiastic financial experts to work prudently to hoist the flag of the continent.

The CEO used the opportunity to thank her team and organizers of the prestigious award ceremony.

“The excellence showcased by Africans on the Financial Market can not be underrated. The world must know and hear about us [Africans]. The AFTA team takes pride to pioneer such an enabling cause.”

Mrs. Flora Tiny indicated that the financial market globally, has shifted from the traditional commerce to e-commerce and as such, “it’s about time our industry followed suit. We have no other choice but to change our money Game”.

The AFTA CEO extended her utmost gratitude to all financial traders all over the continent who made it to the programme and for making financial traders award a success. “Africa has risen and is taking the financial market by the horn.”

Gifty Annor-Sika Asantewah, the President of Women in Forex Ghana, bemoaned the level of poverty in the Sub Saharan Africa in the midst of abundant human resources which can be leveraged upon to leapfrog poverty.

“Africa has had her share of ridicule in the financial arena and has been known as the poorest amongst the rest of the continents. The prevalence of poverty in Africa makes the continent the least respected, even though the continent abounds in riches, natural resources, youthfulness and intellectual prowess.”
