Ghanaian singer and record producer KiDi has revealed that American HipHop/R&B titan Chris Brown was his childhood idol.
The Lynx and EMPIRE signee spoke in an interview when he was asked who his dream collaborations are.
He said;
“This is tough because the list is really long”.

Expressing his faith in a dream come true, he said: ‘The universe is listening’, and then he revealed his ultimate dream collaboration would be with ‘Chris Brown because like…He was my childhood idol’.
The second artiste he mentioned was: ‘Drake’, and lastly, he quickly added that;
“If Rihanna comes back to making music, I would definitely like to hit the studio with her”.

On the African continent, the ‘Touch It’ hitmaker said;
“I would love to make records with a couple of people as well”.

He did not mention names, but said enthusiastically with his fingers crossed.
Mr. Dennis Dwamena popularly known as KiDi also disclosed that his favorite song to perform is probably his song ‘Blessed’ featuring Movado.
“I don’t know how but there’s something very spiritual about that song. Whenever I’m on stage, it speaks to me, you know. The song itself tells me about how easy to focus on all the bad things happening in your life but sometimes you forget to just be grateful that you are blessed to be alive.
“So whenever I’m on stage and when it gets to that song, it’s just some little spirit in me that like rekindles, you know? And I like performing it”.

My third album is 60% ready, will be out this year
‘Champagne’ hitmaker KiDi has revealed his third album is almost ready for release.
The Lynx and EMPIRE signee said;
“This year [2023], the album is coming, I’m working on it”.

He assured his fans and revealed saying;
“It’s like 60 percent done”.

The singer’s debut album, ‘Sugar’, was released on May 31, 2019. He also released a movie the same year with the album name (Sugar) in Accra, Kumasi, and UK.
It packed multiple hits like: ‘Gyal Dem Sugar’, ‘Sugar Daddy’ featuring Mr. Eazi, ‘Come Thru’ featuring Stonebwoy, ‘Thunder’, ‘Adiepena’, and others.
In 2021, he released his sophomore: ‘The Golden Boy’, which housed hits such as the viral ‘Touch It’, ‘Mon Bebe’, and ‘Spiritual’ featuring Kuami Eugene & Patoranking.
Dennis Dwamena also informed his interviewer his favorite songs to play in his car currently are Black Sherif’s ’45’, Asake’s ‘Terminator’, and Sarkodie’s ‘Country Side’ featuring Black Sherif.
Concerning ’45’, he commented saying;
“It’s just a spiritual song to me”.

He also mentioned his upcoming North American tour as well and prayed again to ‘Sky Daddy’ who’s listening that this year he wants an elevation.
KiDi’s love for music led him to perform on various “Moonlight Café” platforms, a production that supports underground artists and gives them a platform to display their talents.
He also recorded covers of popular songs. In 2015, KiDi took a leap of faith by joining the MTN Hitmaker competition.
He went on to win the competition and was later signed to Lynx Entertainment.
KiDi shot to prominence in 2017 when he released “Say You Love Me” a song he not only composed but also arranged and produced.
He established himself as one of the fastest-rising stars in Ghana when he released yet another chart-topper titled “Odo” in July 2017, the remix with Nigerian artist Davido and Mayorkun in December 2017, and Adiepena in April 2018.
KiDi received 6 nominations at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards including ‘Best New Artiste’, ‘Afro-pop Song of the Year’ and ‘Male Vocalist of the Year’ and went on to win the award for ‘High-life Song of the Year’ at the awards in April 2018.
He was crowned as the Artiste of the 5th Edition of the 3Music award and VGMA 2022.
The singer currently has 2 studio albums and 1 EP.
