Trending Gospel musician, Diana Asamoah has brought to the limelight the reason Kwaku Manu also known as Bob Siga used her feud with Evangelist Edward Akwasi Boateng to slam her.
Diana Asamoah claims the popular Kumawood actor used that as an opportunity which he craved over the years.
Diana Asamoah narrated possible reasons Kwaku Manu waded into her issue.
According to her, Kwaku Manu called her for an interview on three different occasions, however, she did not give him any positive feedback.
When pressed about the reason she refused to be interviewed by Kwaku Manu even though being on his platform could promote her, Diana Asamoah mentioned that she refused because people who grant interviews these days have a different mindset, unlike in previous years.
Diana Asamoah noted that show hosts these days would only interview someone to bring confusion between the guests and other people.
Also, the Gospel singer claims show hosts these days do not care about tarnishing the reputation of the guests to get viewers for their content.
“I will use that time to read the Bible. I have never read it before. Sometimes when I see or hear people insulting me, I pray to God to open the eyes of such people. I pity Kwaku Manu. When he came to say his things, I replied to him just like I did to Abeiku that some people lack sense. Kwaku Manu called me for an interview three times but I did not go,” she said.
“This time, if the interview is not about Abba father, I will not go. I have realized that some people do interviews just to get content. As you are saying things in the right direction, the host will be directing you in the left direction so that you will say something negative then people will go to the page of the host to watch. So, they will use their content to ruin your hard-earned reputation,” Diana Asamoah further stated.
Ola Michael ‘Schools’ Diana Asamoah
Veteran entertainment pundit, Ola Michael drew Diana Asamoah’s attention when the gospel musician quoted from the Bible to justify her criticisms of Edward Akwasi Boateng.
Diana Asamoah stated that her advice to Edward Akwasi Boateng to use the car he was gifted for ride-hailing services was not made out of hatred. According to her, it is Edward Akwasi Boateng’s power to heed or not.
“I am not compelling him to heed my advice. He can decide to overlook it. I can’t be forced to support him with funds. Even in the Bible when Peter and John met the leper in front of the church premises, they didn’t give him money because they didn’t have, so it’s not compulsory,” Diana Asamoah said.
After her submission, Ola Michael stated that Diana Asamoah got her interpretation of the Bible quotation twisted, and went ahead to give his opinion on the issue.
“You have quoted wrongly. It’s not about what the quotation says but your interpretation. Because the man was lame, he was being placed there to beg for money,” Ola Michaels stated.
“But his greatest wish was to be able to walk. So when Peter and John saw him, they went in for what was more important to him, which was for him to be able to walk than money. In your explanation, you were insinuating that they didn’t have money but that was not the case,” he further added.
Diana Asamoah came under heated criticism in recent times after she admonished Edward Akwasi Boateng to use a vehicle he was gifted for ride-hailing services.
Entertainment pundits including Halifax and other players in the creative arts industry slammed Diana Asamoah and urged her to keep quiet if she cannot support her fellow gospel musician rather than disgracing him publicly.
